  13. ya.. but slowly adding a little here n there.. jz started my display cabinet installation. also some parts of the plastered walls cracked so its being rectified as i'm typing. but yea so far, enjoying the house..
  14. ya man... i dunno which species it was cos i tried looking it up, a lot of the photos of diff species look very similar. i gave up. think will jz get money plant from now. wanna get this one called Areca Palm as well cos its supposed to be very good at clearing toxic chemicals in the air (NASA did some research apparently).. went to far east flora but they didnt hv it at tt time..
  15. haha.. one of those succulents (related to some cactus family i tink) died in my care... n cacti are supposed to be like the hardiest plant lor... *faintz* tink i over watered it.. but so far the money plant is still good, and is actually growing so, fingers crossed.. ok will take pics for u to see.. if n when i find the time to get there...
  16. hey no prob.. we none-green fingers gotta stick together.. i was actually researching abt the plants cos wanted to get those tt are able to "clean" the air in the house.. initially cos we jz put in some rubber matting in my hubby's soon-to-be gym and the rubber smell is really strong- formaldehyde - so certain plants (NASA did a test apparently) are able to clear certain chemicals released by diff materials in the house.. the rubber plant is apparently quite efficient in clearing formaldehyde.. heh.. ya like the pots cos its white n has prints too! and the 3 u got goes nicely together... tink need to make another trip to ikea soon...
  17. did some cabling for opennet today.. actually arranged for opennet contractors n my ID's sub-con to be here today at 4pm but none of them can keep time..(opennet contractors were late but my ID's sub-con was even later... ) so the opennet contractors came, left the cables n asked us to make another appointment bcos they do not install thru false ceilings (will only do just trunking)... and when he finally got to my place, my ID's sub-con put in the cables thru the false ceilings.. (pics from right to left) the contractor punched a few holes in the false ceiling from the entrance, along the balcony, left cables dangling beneath the beam, then thru the false ceiling in my living room to the other end where my tv is.. so at least whatever exposed trunking is minimized n not so ugly.. so now all is left is for the opennet guys to put the trunking where the cables are exposed still n do some testing... hopefully can get it done on sat... n tomorrow, hubby's display cabinet will finally be installed...
  18. oh cool.. looks like europe.. anyways, once again, have a great wedding !! !!
  19. i like the pots. is it from ikea too? i dun hv green fingers but i kinda googled how to take care of the plants.. (still managed to kill one or two though... ) but the one on the left, the money plant is quite a hardy plant, so no worries, water once a week but hv to let the soil dry out b4 watering though. the one in the middle is a rubber plant? if yes then its quite durable too, water every 2weeks (all this is according to mr google)... the one one the right is some palm species right..? not sure abt tt one...
  20. thanks for the close up! heh.. very very nice! money well spent, im sure.. looks like london...?
  21. haha... hey i tot the plant was real too! babyleomummy, if u wan a low maintenance plant, maybe u can get the money plant. im really bad of taking care of plants (i even killed one of those cactus/succulents thingy, tink i have black fingers as oppose to a green ones) but i hvnt killed the money plant as yet... bought it abt 3mths bk.. or u could get the rubber plant, its quite durable too. tink its official name is ficus elasticus (something like tt), its supposed to help clean the air too.. SGK, ur place turn out really good ya.. quite close to ur 3D as well... happy for u!
