  1. anyone has a pneumatic vacuum lift and know how much is it to install one?
  2. Thank you all for the wonderful information but i am more of a visual person, kinda still blur with the detailed explanation, my bad for my poor comprehension skills haha. So am i right to say that for a 2.5 storey, the 3rd storey could be an attic which open outs to a roof top garden?
  3. hmmm 60 yo house, by any chance this is at pasir ris terrace area? ha
  4. hi pantileen, Could I ask you what does 2.5 storey means? Because I got conflicting information from different builders, could you share with me what your 2.5 storey tanslate to. I was given the following information by different builders, and cant find relevant information from BCA websites, 1. Some told me it is an additional 3rd storey that can be up to 50% of my current existing 2nd storey. 2. Another told me that 0.5 storey simply means the entire 3rd storey is merely a rooftop garden that can be 100% of the land area of the 2nd storey 3. One last builder shared with me that 0.5 storey can mean that the 3rd storey could by an additional 3rd storey up to 50% of the 2nd level and the remaining 50% could be used as a roof top garden/ open patio thank you so much!
  5. Dear friends, I am in the midst of sourcing for a builder to increase my current inter-terrace from 2 storey to 2.5 storey. I would like to enquire the experts here what does the additional 0.5 storey mean? 1. Some told me it is an additional 3rd storey that can be up to 50% of my current existing 2nd storey. 2. Another told me that 0.5 storey simply means the entire 3rd storey is merely a rooftop garden that can be 100% of the land area of the 2nd storey 3. One last builder shared with me that 0.5 storey can mean that the 3rd storey could by an additional 3rd storey up to 50% of the 2nd level and the remaining 50% could be used as a roof top garden. I am kinda confused, does BCA have any link or website I could clarify this with? Much appreciated for the help guys
  6. yes it's possible am doing that for our island kitchen it's easier than putting a hood/hob on the island for sure usually when people put a hood/hob, they will go for induction type hobs so as to avoid running gas pipes or taking up space using the cylinder type gas. But it's gonna be tough installing a hood unless you go for those counter type hood
  7. cant seem to find, anyone got lobang?
  8. Anyone knows where i can find those toilet for pets with flushing?
  9. me too but where can we buy this?
  10. Hi guys, I am thinking of installing my fridge and freezer below my island kitchen, does anyone know where i can get such fridge and freezer and also the price range that i should be looking at? thanks
  11. thanks budgetice for your ever prompt updates and replies sorry to trouble u guys one more time Does Kevin also accompany u guys in the selection of lights/ toilet stuff and kitchen stuff, and give suggestions as a part of his service? if so, does he charge for giving these advice and accompanying u down?
  12. Yeah angeline is one of my final 2 IDs engaged She like what many mentioned here is very detailed, sincere, practical, understand the needs of a woman (wife). However for those of you who have engaged her, i hope to hear from u guys in regards to some points. 1) her quotation is a lump sum figure, with no individual breakdown, is that an issue for u guys who have used her? 2) her pricing is certainly more compared to rest, in the regions of 10-20k, i would like to ask about her carpentry workmanship, is it really better quality wood etc? 3) wcseow, have u seen other IDs carpentry, how much difference is there? sorry to trouble u. but u seem like one of the best person that could advice me
  13. after some meetings with some ID firms I have shortlisted Kevin from Ideal as one of the last 2 to chose from. Personally I find him practical, sincere and with some good ideas. His pricing is lower than the other ID which we shortlisted. Though his quotation is lower, it doesnt seem as detailed as the other ID firm. Can i just ask u guys, those who have engage IDs from Ideal, is there a lot of hidden cost? If there is, what are some of this hidden cost? really appreciate advice on this cheers
