  1. Hi, I just rented out my HDB unit in May. You dun have to pay for the stamp duty. Tenant will bear the cost. Upon submitting the stamp duty, property tax will come next which you have to pay
  2. Hi, I got similar rust on my toilet cupboard hitch. Then my contractor apologies to me, he said the acid cleaning causes it. Hehe.. u can check with your contractor.

  5. Hi, I had just rented my HDB flat and will soon move to my apartment. I just login in to HDB website (login vis singpass), apply online..pay $20 for 2years approval. You get instant approval then within a week, HDB will post you a letter. As long as your flat is 5yrs, it's should be fine.
  6. Hi Hi.. Sorry for the delay. I was busy clearing my house for my new tenant to come in 1st May. My little studio should be ready by end next week. There was some delay due to leakage pipe from the above unit. Finally settled.. Nest week, platform up, toilet accessories up, lighting up.. Some photo photos to share..
  7. Hi, i cannot remember how much is the pull-out mirror. I got the whole set from Alumix and paid abt $1300. They sell all the internal shelving/ mirror seperately according to your needs.

  10. Hi, I am in the mid of my renovation. I overlay my toilet wall tiles but not floor. I hack my toilet floor tiles and did waterproofing cos is an old apartment. My contractor advise is, due to is an old apartment, if there is any leakage, it's going to be very troublesome.

  12. Hi, Seeing another FS master will make u more confused. I've been through that 10yrs again. I have seen 3 FS master but..... Debts, jobless, nothing seems right. In the end, i gave up all the FS Master and work hard towards life. I tell myself, i wun be so unlucky forever. I will pull through.. There's always up & down in life, tell yourself, is only temperory. Trust me, nobody will be able to help.. only u yourself. Now, i'm glad that i've choosen to belive myself.

  17. Ya.. go CASE for advise. Lawyer Society think very hard to complain one.. think need deposit. Anyway, my case is closed liao lah.. now only wait for the bank to pay the subsidy to them, then they can issue me my bal $$.
  18. Sound good.. think as long as we did not mention the lawyers/firm should be ok. We are just giving our point of view & experience.. hehe Anyway, we have already used them and had no choice... have to used them till the completion. That time, i even want to to CASE to review on this case! haha We can't change them like agent.. lols
  19. Haiz.. My story.. Bought the apart in Dec'09. Agent ask if can early completion (8weeks) as seller requested it. I have no problem regarding when the completion as i have a existing shelter. Agent recommand his lawyer and said his lawyer was able to do it. Documents was submitted as when the lawyer requested. During the 7weeks, lawyer called and said could not complete in time. No problem for me, he have to settle it. Thenn got a call from the lawyer again, he told us that the seller is charging us for the late completion! Amount to near $1k! I was super firmed of it and tell him off that I would not pay a single cent for the late charge! Guess what he said to me.. he said' oh, then your agent will bear the late charges! Some agent need to tought a lesson. Pls, is not the agent fault at all. Anyway, my agent was nice enough to bear the fine. More.... 1) Completion done, when to his office to collect keys. Handled us the invoice immediatey.. got shock to see the final figure! Duplicate document charge.. etc! 2) When to apartment, it was suppose to be empty possesion.. but all the funiture was still there 3) When to mgt office, previous owner maintence fee still have outstanding. 4) Missing gate key. & More.... You know, during the collection of keys, he mentioned that the bank subsidy cheque would come in and he will issue us a cheque back in abt 2-3week. Till now, it have been almost 3months,i have not collect anything or hear from them. Called the banker, banker say not his dept. Call lawyer, push to the bank! Just for sharing lah.. was really upset abt the standard of lawyer here...
  20. Hi, I 100% agree with you. I had a horrible lawyer while purchasing my apartment in Dec'09 and i have to end up paying more. What's more, he didn't know the procedure and everything when screw up! Advise to all: Beware, get to know how the lawyers charge.. there are hidden cost u never know.
  21. Ya.. bought JE st 21.. near MRT/IMM. Now renting out my unit cos bought a studio/old apartment! For investment.. No regrets, as i am only 32..!
  22. Hi, Since you already had in mind what to do, you dun need an ID. A contractor will do. You can try my contractor Ben from Midas Interior Renovation. My current apartment is renovating now and everything goes smoothly. I find him good cos he manage to slove my problems and most of all.. very resonable charge. I am not promoting him lah.. just the recent search of contractor made me headache.. luckily, got this contractor from a friend's. If you are interested, I can PM you his contact. Good Luck!
