initially i bought the single hook to hang towel in toilet. Didnt follow the instruction to get it up for 24 hrs before hanging stuff on it so it came off. Then my husband tried again. So this time we followed the instructions and waited for more than 24 hrs then put 1 bottle of shower foam + 1 bottle of kids' shampoo + 1 bottle of adult shampoo. So far, didnt drop. BTW the tiles was smooth type. My MBR toilet are those with texture so maybe cant stick well.

starhub is very blur 1 la, like in my case, shifted to new place, called to info and changed to the new address. On that day when they suppose to deliver the modem (signed up for broadband, cable previously from old house), i rushed down, waited and waited. Then called saying outside the house and hung up. I quickly opened the door and no 1 was there. Couldnt called the man back cos it was a private no, a while later the man called me again, telling me he is still outside, at sengkang #XX-XX. I was like That was my old address! Told him to come to my new place @ AMK now, he said very far from sengkang. In the end the customer service officer called to arrange for another date and kept apologising. But guess what, the same thing happen again on the re-arranged date! How come like that huh?

I like ur 20 wire baskets, easy to get things. Must keep this in mind if i ever do reno again. Ur house is nicely done!

I also saw almost the same dining table at S & C and Courts. Maybe for those u dun sit on for very long period of time, u can get from them. But like mattress & sofa, which u need to feel the cushion seats, u get from those with ready sets to try on. For bedsheets, i like robinsons'. Got 1 set from the expo sale, dunno what Hotel Style brand (480 TC) comfy! $39. As compared to aussino, not very comfy. So if u can wait till Robinsons' sale, wait till the year end then buy bedsheets.

Me too, still got some cartons in storeroom and just finish unpacking yesterday. Actually its my husband's books. So many of them. I hardly cook so kitchen cabinet half empty, i was thinking, can i put clothes inside?

Yes, must really sourced ard before the purchase. Warehouse house sales are also another source of saving $. Buy things only when u are sure of the measurements and not in a hurry to get it. Like we got our washer at a warehouse sale and save quite a bit. Dun buy in impulse. Contractors are better in terms of saving $ as compared to ID. ID definitely cost more but they have 3d designs and ideas. Whereas contractors have more experiences and perhaps good advices. Of course getting a good & reliable contractor is impt. Read some good ones like Ossify, Jaskel, Mr Yeak & Edmund. Never take more loans, do within the means & slowly beautify the place.

Actually if can give the contractors time to do their wk, it will be better cos if u rush them then it wont be a good job. Ours although done in exactly a month, got some little defects here and there. But we chin chai, cos i know nothing is perfect in the world. After the official HO, my ID still got ppl to come down to rectify.
