I got mine from a shop on the 3rd floor of One Utama, Damansara.

    Dilemma

The IDs don't do everything by themselves or maybe even nothing except the design. So the subcontractors, ie carpenters, tilers, electrician and so on do the various pieces. Problem is that IDs work with the partners that they are familiar with. They then add their margins on top of the actual workers, so you have a wide variance in prices. Unless you find all the subcontractors yourself and ask your ID to work with them, it's going to be hard for you to break up the pieces of the work. Remember if the other ID promise to match the price on the first ID design, his subcon may not be able to do it as well if the design is novel or not standard. You should only do it if the design is commonplace and/or the work is something that is already standard in the industry.
  11. Hello All, Anyone can make any recommendations? I will be getting the lights on my own and there will not be any re-location of the existing lights points. It will be a mix of pendant lights, ceiling lights and downlights through false ceilings. Tks in adv.
  12. Hello, Is the group buy over? I just found this thread. I am looking for a digital lock (fingerprint based lock if possible) at price range of $300 ~ $500
  13. Hello Tiler Seng, You PM is full I am home owner intending to do renovation on my own. We are still finalizing how our bay windows will look like. One of the choices is to lay glass mosaics and tiles from SBH or Whitehorse. Please give me a price proposal for laying mosaics for the following bay windows area with the dimensions 1, Master Bedroom : BAY 1 depth 54 cm -> 54.2 cm x length 373 cm BAY 2 depth 56 cm -> 56.4 cm x length 297 cm 2. Bedroom 1 : BAY depth 56.1 cm x length 262 cm 3. Bedroom 2 : BAY depth 56.2 cm -> 56.7 cm x 253 cm We are very particular about the work, ie gap between two adjacent tiles should be less than 1 mm, all tiles must be level and so on. So you may want to factor that into the cost. Vincent 9794 6448
