    hi, I'm in the midst of planning my renovation to my EM as well and the cost just adds up. Did you rewire the whole house or you use back the wires? How many DB box do you have? My electrician advised me to have 1 upstairs and 1 downstairs. That will cost me $400. My quotation to the whole house re-wiring is crazy..... wondering if yours is a more acceptable quote. Mind sharing with me?

    From my experience, I started packing all the non essentials first and LABEL. For example all those kitchen ware like plates and glasses that will not be using were wrapped in bubble wrap (can buy a huge roll from SKP). Use the better quality carton boxes to store them in and LABEL. Same for things like books, display things etc. Can use the bags to keep things like clothes and toys.

    I got the same one from a shop at Toa Payoh. It sells all things for praying like joss sticks etc. There's different sizes as well.

    Agree that Poh Joo toilet stuff is horrible. it's starting to tarnish after 4 months. Use only at night and morning. Try to fix curtains instead of roman blinds, maintanence is definitely easier. Regretted using black matt floor tiles inthe kitchen. I'm a clean freak and the water marks and smudges are really getting to me. Glass shower screens are also a pain. Very hard to remove the soap scum even though I clean every weekend with bleach. Can see the streaks and water marks after 3-4 days. Also regretted having so many mirros in the house. Makes the house big and bright, but if you don't clean often, can see the dust and smudges. Very irritating.....

    I got the Samsung one, it's black with handle. Got it from the shop at IMM. That's the price i paid with installation. The boss personally comes down to do installation. My door is not a new one, there were some patching to do but the workmanship was good. After a good coat of paint, it was as good as new.

    Hi, I am currently using this for my new house. We moved in about 1 month ago. It is certainly very convenient as we do not have to bring any key with us. Just press our code and it's open. There's also two types of biometric cards and key if all fails. We don't even bother to lock the gate now.

    I have a Serta mattress too. I use Friven Hotel Range..... I bought this at their main store at Jalan Kilang. The fitted sheet for Queen mattress is huge enough even to tuck the sheet under the mattress. Quilt cover also very nice. You can try looking for it at their new retail outlet at Tanglin?
