Hope you guys dont mind if I share my views. Actually there is nothing wrong with comparing price, but when doing so the person may also want to take into consideration on the services provided usually if their service is not good why would people recommend them in the OPEN forum. As to say only young people do price comparsion is actually not correct, it is done in all ages. I think why some owners are getting prices from the recommended contractor from the forum is to get their main-con to match or reduce price mainly because they would the main-con to be responsible for the entire project. My advice to those who have this intention is to get a verbal quote from the forum vendors instead of making them go down all the way especially when you know you wont be awarding them the job. No wrong to get good prices to save your hard earned money but just be fair to others who put in time and effort for you. PS - No offence intended.

If you already have a clear idea on what you want and if you have the time to do the project management than should you consider handling it yourself. ID to me is just a person that pens down the things you already have in mind and also take up the role of Project Manager with fees. (No disrespect intended) Just my 2 cents

Actually it would be more pratical to have Wifi instead of having LAN points, dont forget once the cables are laid and concealed in the event troubleshooting is requitred how are you going to remove or change the cable toms of headache and heatache. If you still want to have LAN points it is recommended you use cable brands like AMP. Painitng of whole house (3 Floors, corner Terrace) 4. Sliding door for the slide of the house, inclusive of hacking of existing wall. 5. Air-con 2xSys 2, 2xSys 3 with installation (Concealed piping installation required) 6. Tiling (Have not thought of what to do) 7. This is how you can ensure you dont have to pay more than what is subsidise by the bank. PLEASE DO THE BELOW BEFORE SIGNING THE BANK LOAN AGREEMENT. 1. Check what is bank providing for the legal fees normally $2500 to $3000 dependning on loan size. 2. Ask the banker if he can recommend a lawyer that will agree to keep the total legal fee within the bank given legal fee. (The banker is more interested in you taking up the loan, so he will definetly talk to the law firm he is familar with) 3. Once you get a contact from the banker have a talk over the phone with the lawyer and than send him/her an email stating that the whole transaction is capped to a certain fee. Hope this helps.
