  8. bank loan would required 5% cash so you can take 80% loan then will only take 15% from your CPF. For me, i took 75% loan with 5% cash, so i use 20% from cpf. its up to you, as you are taking bank loan. only wipe out if you taking hdb loan. you paying agent fees and lawyer fees, so your agent and lawyer best person for you to know more details as they will know the actual transaction you are doing. ie, how much loan you can get, how much you have in cpf, what is the COV, the date of 1st appt and 2nd appt etc. what you are telling us are too superficial for us to advise in details.
  9. aiyoh, waste money too leh cos got to reorder tiles and get tiler to redo. why the plumber so stubborn?
  10. congrats! really lucky for you to get a queue number from HDB for SOBF. like what you said, its really like kena 1st price for toto..... hahahaahaah.... then you won't need to worry abt COV, its already a good discounted price from HDB if you buy direct from hdb
  11. go ask andrew to help you replace with normal bifold doors loh Huat! huat! to you too.....
  12. many people don't know how to use PD door yet.... heard a lot of complaints that visitors came and spoilt the door loh.
  13. my electrician let me choose 3 different brands, MK, Clipsal and legrand. i tried pressing each of them and decided on my current one as this is the one that makes the least noise (not loud click, but a soft click) and easy to press. changing the faceplate is quite easy, i think.
  14. if cannot go through, i also don't know what will happen. i know that time i bought it, i ask them what if cannot go through. they said its paid for and taken out of box, so no refund. since have 1-2cm left, should be ok lah.
  15. bedrooms are to be warm, tiles are cold..... especially if you on aircon the whole night, you will realised the tiles will make the rooms very cold. but its a matter of preference. For me, i use tiles too as i prefer tiles that are easier to maintain.
  16. ya, i heard from a forummer that they are really cheap. so in the end, she chooses home sweet home instead of my contractor she is cheaper. but i am not sure how is her reno now. no news from her
  17. aircon usually not from ID. when you buy aircon, you can negotiate with them to come twice. mine also only once but when i called them, they said its ok for them to come twice, which i really appreciate.
  18. yup, same for me too. Wasn't arrange by me, my contractor told me that is the best way
  19. MHI cannot support? i am using MHI with 18000BTU in living room, 12000BTU in master bedroom and 9000BTU in common room. also system 3
  20. when buying fridge, have to look at the size without doors. most of the fridge specs will tell you the size without the doors so that if worse case, the delivery men can dismantle the doors then go through then install the doors again once inside the kitchen. The problem with my 1st fridge is even after dismantling the fridge doors, its still too big to go through the main door. that is the problem with older flats as the main door is not as big (ie 1 panel only). Newer flats that have a main door, and smaller section on the side to open bigger if needed, then no problem to go through.
  21. ya, this one looks so nice leh...
