Not sure whether you heard about three doors cannot be placed in together. So, to break it u need to camouflaged one door. This is what I read from books and internet not from FSM. Hi Immunity, I have met up with Alan too and seen his work. My husband and me are ok with it. He is sincere, friendly and non pushy > I do agree. My reno mostly like will start on end of May after you.....LOL. I haven't sign up yet cos I request for on site measurement first and I want to finalized the materials that I wanna use. The 3D drawing will be done after signing up. Anyway, I have sketched my own design drawings but still need to be confirmed cos it is not up to scale. The dining table most likely I will put in living area. Reason being my kitchen is in southeast area which is not favourable for my husband and myself in term of feng shui but I am considering to do a breakfast counter top if there is any space on that. (Seems a bit contradicting rite?) I always have this inspiration to have my own breakfast counter top or island top but Island top is definitely no no for my unit due to feng shui issue too. Your scope of works is lesser than mine. I will be doing my own design (simple one) and just need a contractor to co-operate with me on how to get it done and clarify about the measurement and materials to be used. No choice..I only have small budget for this...

Hi everyone, I also notice the different pricing from one to one contractor / ID. But somehow, I don't understand how come the price could be double from the lowest price??? Is there anyone know in depth about window grills like what kind of material they use or they have several grade? Anything that we need to know in order to gauge for the price??? I find that it is very hard to do a bargaining of the price or to determine what is the market price unless we really know a bit more about the window grill (included glasses) others than how they quoted the stuff. I have ever asked a contractor > he said white powder coating is very expensive but how true it is I am not sure. In my assumption, white powder coating is just like "foundation" that we use for make up (sorry, for girls only). If this gone, you can still see what is inside. This white powder coating is just a spray on the grills itself. Nothing much complicated unless anyone of you can share with me the details and process... Cheers:) Emobebe

I have a similar experience as per yours. First appointment delay by a month and then now delay again for 2nd appointment. I almost back out but after do my math calculation I will lose more than gain. So what to do, i think there is an oversight on this property law where it protect seller more than buyer. I hope this coming inspection date won't give me any more unpleasant issue. Keep my fingers cross!!

Hi all, I guess luckily today I came across this topic. My inspection will be due on next month before the final completion date. I have no particular things in mind to inspect since I will do major overhaul but I still have some items which is supposed belong to us when we agreed to buy over the flat like oven, airconds, hob, hood...etc My agent did an inventory list for me during the first day we agreed to buy over this unit. I guess I will be using this as a guideline and hopefully the sellers won't make me vomit blood again since some bad incidents happened before that. And I will remind myself that to ask them to move their shoe rack bench outside of the unit cos I think they will probably dump it there. Thanks to all of you who done your sharing here! Hi archenemy, I have ever asked this question about the air flow of a fridge to the Courts' salesman. He said from side to side but I am not sure cos I didn't read up the technical part of the fridge manual. Same as you, I won't do kitchen cabinets on the top of fridge cos it will restrict the height of the fridge but I will do the base cos I believe on washing floor occassionally...I guess up to individual preference. Hi Jonathan, I am not a pro here but I have make a few comparisons before this. I think you should include the measurement if you want to achieve more accurate result from the comparisons. Apple should compare with apple rite?? I can only comment in a few items. The rest I am not sure.
