  9. No wonder some of my racks get rust easily and some are not. I bought some stainless steel dish rack and toilet accessories from different companies like Sim Siang Choon, IKEA and others (Can't remember their name) but all give me different results. I was thinking because my previous flat nearby the sea side so it will get rust easily. From this thread, at least someone explained it clearly (Biochem background???)... Anyway, I learnt something new here...Thanks!!! Emobebe

  23. Just to share, I asked a question to one of the IDs I seen recently. My kitchen wall got a bit like dented inside. So I asked when the carpenter do the cabinet and fix in, what will happen to the dented part inside...like a hole..., then he replied..oh, we will put a wood inside..I never asked what kind of wood cos I was thinking it is norm to do that cos I never heard of...LOL... Is it better to ask contractor to put cement and tiles on top of it before the carpenter fix the cabinet??? Need expert advise on this.... EmoBebe
  24. Hi Yumiko, Thanks for sharing. Actually I never thought of this till someone mentioned about the heat. I was suggested by one of the IDs to put below the hob. He said since i seldom bake and I won't be using the hob at the same time, so to save space just put it there. But my main concern is about the safety cos I will be using cyclinder gas. So if i were to put the hob and oven together top and bottom and by the side is cyclinder gas. Will there be any safety issue?? Hope someone can clarify this. Note: Was thinking to use citygas but the flat don't have this kind of facility...sighs! Emobebe
  25. Hi John, I was thinking if I were to provide the drawings to the contractor, It will help me express better on what I want. Not going to make this ID my career...LOL....not me.. Sighs..Good IDs...I am clueless..everyone also claim they are good IDs..I am relying on those who really has done their renovation with those IDs or contractors.....Past and present project plus the team of carpentary of those IDs are not changed yet....lol...but I know it is hard to find one. Morever, I am on budget constraint and need job to done within a month. I am not sure whether those companies wanna take my job or not... Emobebe
