  1. thats a cheap way(money saving) used by my mum's generation. But then they dont mind having rough rough hands - bleach. Use magicclean also can - just not as cheap as bleach. And dont look down on bleach, they may be cheap but they REALLY KILL germs hor. wah dont say like that leh, me so paiseh...

  3. Years back when my buddy show me this metal thing and told me this thing could remove whatever odour..fish/onion/grease/petrol/kerosene from my hands. I laugh at him and tell him to f*** off. But when he(DIY king) look really serious and show me his dirty greased hands and then wash his hand with the metal thingy like a soap bar. I smell his hands...no shiit , no smell! Actually this thing exists for years liao - just that it didnt make it's way into singapore until recent years.   6. never heard of any product specifically created for cleaning such material(top). general consensus towards "plastic" = NOT to use anything that is strong. hmm...reminds me of my acrylic/plastic polish for cars.   13. ya, at least he should have enough time to schedule his works for you. his office mainly for paperworks nia, not showroom. factory is in sugneikadut i think. he is a old bird in the industy and he knows NO MATTER how much samples he stocks, the customer die die sure want something else, thats why he let the customer to have the liberty of choosing any tiles any where! havent seen any adhoc workers. quality is assure, rectification will be DONE until you happy, thats why his IRONCLAD reputation. you need to give him a time frame or a deadline, so far have yet to hear anyone's reno being delayed. good luck!

  15. yesterday went to marina sq homefix..... all the stuffs there PRICE so much different from other outlets.... machiam got MAGIC DOOR like that, the moment a human enters, immediately turned into a FAT SHEEP waiting for fleecing. this sat me got whole list of things to do 1) fix security cameras at corridor 2) change last 2 lamps' electronic ballast 3) fix the esaver timer for KDK fan 4) patching up the stupid holes at the bamboo holder(outside) 5) go buy 4D (most important)

  22. mark on floorplan easier for the contractor to spot them - else they gonna forget especially if you have many defects. night time with your lights switch on - very different liao - especially your walls, the paint, colour tone/cracks, uneven surface, gaps, tiles....many things suddenly look so obvious YET during daytime you didnt notice them at all. I want my FAT CAT!
  23. haiz - when come to service - both also sama sama. the tel exchange is true but - the main problem with starhub is that THEY DONT UPGRADE their backend equipements even when 70% of a estate is using their service. when i am on 1500kbps plan - I only get 200-300+ kbps. but i was charged $57+ then i switch to singtel - $29.95 and get average of 600-900+ kbps. (tel echange far away) it's the money/product comparison.
