  5. Stay cool bro. U r a loving hubby! Wifey sure love u much much! For now, jus make the best out of the worst situation lor. Now that the trunking r minimised, plus the painting, i'm sure it won't turn out so bad when everything else is up. Hope i'm wrong but i think the gap behind the bed should be ok, ur headboard shd not go rickety. In fact, even without the air-con trunking, there will still be a small gap between the headboard & the wall due to the skirting.. no way the headboard can park 稳稳 against the wall de la... PS. Side track a bit.. u mentioned u work 12 nite shift (or 12-hr nite shift?) Security line? Paiseh, jus k-po, no obligation to answer pls
  6. Hi MK, I suppose u install 1 unit in each of the bedrooms & 1 in the living hall? Mind to share what model/capacity of the units? Mine also Starmex S3 Inverter inclusive of 2 x MSY-GE10Va (8530 BTU), 1 x MSY-GE18VA (16377 BTU) (bcos my expanded living hall quite big) & completely new installation (because previously nothing), & i paid $3.4K (think kena chopped carrot head though it was 1 yr ago) for it. Thks!
  7. I lived all my years without an air-con. Wanted to do in old hse but no way, so waited for mass reno. So u shd do now lah else very hard to do once the rest r up.. Originally i oso intended to go for S2 non-inverter only but somehow was convinced to settle for a Starmex S3 inverter. Seldom use now oso except for very very hot nights like lately, when there r visitors & MJ sessions (a must for me).. Hee hee!
  8. By the way, mind sharing wat brand & System u using, & the damage? (can pm if not convenient to share here) Thanks!
  9. Wah complicated! Can feel wif ur frustrations I left everything to the "experts".. luckily not a major issue asthetically. Hopefully my trunking, gradient or watever techicalities were done professionally & properly too.. dun gimme problem nex time 就好
  10. Wow, with such a 大力士 mil, u better not be naughty... otherwise it's not hard to imagine ur 下场.. Take care bro! kekeke!
  11. Oh paiseh, think both MK & I din read properly.. took ceramic tiles for cement tiles (the colorful peranakan-style tiles).. cement tiles indeed diff to maintain..
  12. That's one way how our ID/contractor make an impression upon us... though it's somewhat the negative way for our cases... Lol! Looking forward to ur photo montage... meanwhile njoy a great lwe!! Cheers!
  13. Sharing my exp.. I using black ceramic floor tiles for my wet common bathroom (w no shower screen, & we wash clothes there oso when wm not used). White spots/stains tend to build up after the floor dries up especially when it is not clean. So personally i will always wash/clean the floor wif clean water so that no spot/stain will show up upon dry. And my bathrm dries up relatively fast (at least compared to my previous tiles (forget wat type liao)) Oso, i chose rough surface tiles so scratches not so obvious.. at least to me eyes ba.. kekeke!
  14. Mayb I was sharing wif some other bros/sis in their blogs la.. Haha!

  19. Of cos of cos! Mus always treat all wif respect. I'm one who believe 以礼待人, 以德服众.. Although I may nag my ID n grumble to him, at the end of the day still bro 来 bro 去! Haha! In fact a few months after handover he was still responding (though may take a few weeks) to my calls for minor defects. Now I paiseh liao though still under warranty.. wait until got major ones (hopefully never) then say.. Haha!
  20. Thanks for the sharing. U make it sound so easy like tt! Haha! By the way, my "friend" is referring to Ah Beng lah - he said he should have done the same as u mah! haha!
