  1. what a waste what's downstairs of that walls? maybe can just spray water to clean the gaps occasionally? as long as downstairs is not used by pedestrians
  2. think you can pay $5 and buy a copy of the floorplan from hdb leh good to have the floorplan when you approach contractors for quote pagoda street? that sounds like an expensive place to buy furniture
  3. oops didn't know you want full length ones 490 for the mirror cabinet sounds reasonable, esp since it's custom made to your preference
  4. me spam too the silky in your avatar yours?
  5. deathcoth will say bring beckham
  6. me me me, i took the pix will pm the link to babytan and skywolf not sure if deathcoth is okay with me posting his pix all over the web
  7. can check out the various shops while you shop for bathroom accessories think poh joo and the rest also have but i like chuan heng's variety more
  8. no they sell bathroom and kitchen accessories it's along jln besar road, diagonally across from royal fanco
  9. yah only the black one so did you choose that one? if yes we'll see the actual thing when your reno is completed
  10. oh yes yes, your EX colour scheme can't wait to see the transformation but then it might tempt me to reno my bathroom as well
  11. that's cheap, $100 for our length? the one i know is using shiseido also, but $130 for hair below bra line when and if you go jio me can? me thinking of rebonding my hair think we going 3D2N, just a pampering trip zz awww so won't get to see you think taxes and surcharges are more or less the same so most likely jetstar will be one of the cheapest usually pay $38 both ways excluding the above
  12. think it's quite some time back. remember reading about it when i first join hi hobbes, our common bathroom colour same same leh maybe the tiles and WC/basin are from the same supplier
  13. no mine was a cat. i have 3 cats now he fell from 17 floors and i rushed him to mt pleasant the vet on duty just looked at him and told me there's nothing he can do he didn't even check for sign of life which was why i didn't think well of mt pleasant guess i kinda blame myself for not securing my windows and doors he ran out from my gate so now we are living in a giant 'cage' hmm think i'll call them soon coz the promo ending liao if not because of the gas heater, the dryer sure can fit but they installed the gas heater towards the centre of the wall, so don't know whether still can fit the dryer in or not :dunno;
  14. no lah, i didn't say hafary don't give samples only skywolf say hafary don't give samples i didn't ask for any coz didn't see any tile i like from hafary
  15. think for solid surface there isn't really a problem with joint lines they'll install it onto the cabinets and buff until you can't really see the joint line, let alone feel it
  16. maybe those of you who are thinking of getting ceiling fans can check out tai yong or their price went up as well?
  17. hmm if you are thinking of top cabinet might as well buy off the shelf try ikea or chuan heng, they've got quite an array of these
  18. eh i saw this person offering hair service at home leh rebonding for long hair is $130 maybe we want to engage her service and do together at my place or yours?
  19. hi david, can share which block your place is at? maybe next time i can 'upgrade' to your block coz i really love the layout :yamseng:
  20. wah the price went up so much installation was $40 so fan price should be around $260 (as at jul 07)
  21. yes yes saw that post too the feature wall actually collasped coz it's not secured well to the wall the plasma tv gone liao
  22. no he died at the age of two it was too sudden coz it was like i went to sleep with him looking at me and woke up to him dead as i type this tears still come to my eyes yes saw it but still thinking very hard partly coz my dryer is still working well and partly coz i'm not sure if i can fit it into my yard wall cause of the gas heater you think they'll charge for a on-site consultation? according to the advert, the running time for the gas dryer is shorter compared to electrical one and so far i've never heard piped gas leak caused by appliance failure think the most recent case (maybe one and only) is the one where the contractor drilled into the concealed gas pipe and no one knows :yamseng:
  23. do note that you don't have to pay levy if you are buying a resale flat and have no intention whatsoever to get another new flat from hdb
