Anyone used Summerhaus D'zign before? Any comments? Love how symmetrical the lights are. Uploaded with ImageShack.us Another angle: Uploaded with ImageShack.us But the dining is a little too stark with only white & black.

Hi Benauhc, What flooring did you use on your kitchen to match ur kitchen cabinets? Hm..Just wondering, isit worth laminating over 16 year old tiles? Worry whether the old tiles will 'pop-up' n screw up my laminated floor one day.

looking at yours, I cant imagine what my reno cost will come up to =( I think different toilet different colour is fine, so long as each toilet looks good on its own.

This chair is too cute for words. If its not appropriate enuff for the dining, I'll think of some other use for it. The curved back makes resting on it quite comfy Stackable too. Good to stock up some for guests. Better than stools. But the price tag not so Uploaded with ImageShack.us Aso found pretty wooden high chairs for our raised counter top. See the white one under the spotlight? Above it is the brown version. I really should start looking for these on Taobao. Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Hi Teofamily! The extension was initially agreed already, for that they lowered the COV a little. Come to think of it we might have been able to nego a little more, but since they seemed really sincere seller n nice people, nevermind la. I just hope the handover is smooth! The WIW would ideally be just in front of the Master toilet. But Most likely I'm scraping the idea, dont want all the moisture from the toilet getting to the clothes. Saw a folding door concept for the wardrobe that the showflat at Qbay used. Maybe I'll opt for that instead. What changes would u be doing for your home?

Some pics from IKEA: The white countertop with grey specks looks prettier IRL. This has a more country feel to it, but black knobs on the off-white cabinet with panneling gives off a warm, cozy vibe. Uploaded with ImageShack.us This looks a little more modern n sleek. The handles are good for hanging kitchen cloths. Only grouse is that they could make the area abit brighter. Uploaded with ImageShack.us Which would better fit the Scandi theme?

Made a trip down to Qbay & IKEA yesterday to get some ideas on decor. Spent the most time at the kitchen section at IKEA brainstorming on the layout of our work triangle. Loads to think about for the reno. Need to make more trips down together back to IKEA & more showflats before we'll start calling the IDs.

Similar layout to mine in similar location =) Have fun reno-ing!

1st appointment today! Slight waiting time, but process considered fast & smooth. Agreed with owners to get keys 1.5 mths after 2nd appointment cos they need time for their own reno. Considered by lawyer & HDB to be private arrangement & when I told them our arrangement, all seems to want to keep it hush hush... Cos officially on 2nd appointment house belongs to us, any problems arise will be our problem... but should be ok? I se so many people doing that Anyhower our sellers are quite nice & allowed us to bring contractors to their house during the 1.5 mths. Hopefully their reno is smooth so that hand over of keys will be on time Dropped by Hommage today but they were gone for CNY! They're only back on 18 Feb.

Finally ur t-blog is up! Cant wait to see what new ideas you have for your home ^^ Can use as inspiration for mine tooo Knocking down the kitchen walls to make living room bigger? I'm toying with the idea of pushing 1 part of the kitchen in so that can free up more space in the living, cos i find the existing living so narrow, sofa too near to tv. Btw, you keeping your current living room flooring?
