  1. gobz The original quotation is still binding as its signed with the Company and not the consultant. Did the director provide an explanation for $2K? You should stop paying them further payment and you may wish to consider changing e lock to prevent them from entering your flat to remove any items. Do let us know which ID firm is that.
  2. COV price is just like COE; kept increasing I paid $22K for a 3-room(S), mid floor, 2 busstops from Bishan MRT. Those nearer to MRT COV @ least 45K.
  3. I did not ponder too much into the family photo; To me, it's just a perspective drawing to give me an overall feel of the whole design concept. Ultimately, I'm more concern with the quality of the end product.

  7. Hi all, I contacted mr chew last month but he referred me to other curtain contractors as he has too many orders on hand. I have signed up with MGL, installation in end january, will do a review later.
  8. Hi I’ve been a silent reader of RT for the past few months and decided it's time to pen down my renovation processes. Pardon me for my poor English. I started hunting down for my habitat in Jun 12, wanted a 4room flat in Sengkang initially but the price was crazy high, minimum $S480K excluding COV. As I’ll be staying all by myself, I tried to convince myself that I don’t need such a big space and don’t want to be a slave cleaning the house every weekend. Hence, decided for a 3 roomer instead. Initially wanted a 3room @ AMK, visited 4-5 flats but all no feel. Then, I moved down to Bishan, viewed 2 flats. The 1st one is 5 min away from MRT, facing west, high floor, COV $50K. The 2nd is 15 min away, facing South, mid floor, COV $26K. The existing conditions of these flats were pretty bad and require major renovation; as such I feel it’s not worth to pay the $50K COV. In fact, I really hope that the government can control the price of the asking COV, some are simply unrealistic. After careful considerations, I decided for the one that is further from e MRT whereby I saved on e COV and can use the moolah for my renovation. After 4 months of waiting, I finally collected my keys on 22 Nov 12 and this is my floor plan. I’ll continue with more updates on my renovation process soon. Stay tune.
