I think initially new house we will be beri hardworking to maintain wipe here n there once a week.. Subsequently twice a week then gradually once a month haha then later once a year.... I cannot recall how long it took to turn yellow but i seldom cook previously and yet it turn yellow so i cannot imagine if my mum cooks regularly now... So i dun dare take the risk so i go for darker tone for kitchen cabinets ^_^ Where u go shopping for ur tv? I also looking for tv n soundbar...

Hi Z3phy, my renov started on 20Feb.... ohhh for yrs just applied today..think yr renov will start mid march?? oh ya..today went down my flat...by the time i reached nearly 730pm plus.. really see nuts...getting darker! no way am i getting remote...unless i strike TOTO or 1 million hahahah i duno the price for the rainbow blinds..hence need to do homework and ask around for the price already...i think 1.5k also a bit pricey..but its definitely nicer than the usual roller blinds ha... i will leave the roller blind as my last shopping item...if i still got balance after my budget...and after chking around if its about the same price..maybe i will consider this rainbow blind...

yeap i agree! can't wait for my renov to complete now! it's really tiring to go down after work...to chk on the house..esp when there's no car..need to take bus/mrt change here and there... Everyone! Bite through...all the efforts are worthwhile!! When everything and all items settled in, there's really a great sense of satisfaction..as this is overall our own piece of art..putting each jigsaw together and taaa-daaa our perfect home!!

Hi Z3phy, the first pic i posted was manual in a way you need to pull the string and while the blind was down..you can adjust the blind (the stripes) in a way to allow light to be in or not.. i ask the lady in store..she said for 4 room flat..3 bedrooms appx $1500...it also depend how many pcs of wdws you have in each bedroom.. As for the 2nd pic for the automated kind..i dun dare to ask the price hahahaha...

Z3phy, dun think anymore...hack all the flooring tiles...definitely no regret later!!! i 'mo' touch the rainbow blind for a while..hmm how should i say it..its not that kind of curtain material..and a bit of plastic kind...so perhaps i think overall may be easy to clean? or perhap just vacuummmmmm....
