Those ppl who always wayang at work ah ? Last time my ex company i everywhere also gt see. So sian liao. Wayang one thing.. 'angkat' (carry balls) is another. Bt now hor, i no project, veyr boring. nothing to do. Can still complain or not ? hehe !

hehe ! mine also same same. had to plaster over the tiles fr the inside of the kitchen entrance and just painted it normal white. fr my service balcony entrance, also gt cracked tiles. my ID also say no more matching tiles liao so no choice have to use white. then i tink tink some parts white, some parts gt the HDB tiles a bit funny. at last I decided to put the whole border of the svc balcony entrance to white tiles. gt my fren ask me, why ur tiles that part is white. i just answer "oh! this is part of the design" kekeke !

yuckyuckyuck ! but hor, thot the hole is have fr overflow water ? cos my current place also have that hole, then sometimes (i dunno why ah, i tink soemthing stuck) then water will overflow from there one. so isit a must to cover?

I tried my vacuum liao. Eeeeeee ! So noisy lor ! I much prefer the Miele Parquet version. Maybe I a bit branded.. haha ! !! It's noisy and has this irritating high pitched tone. Other than that, it sucks. haha ! Seriously, it sucks quite well ! hehhee !

Fh just bought an Electrolux Z 1660 model yesterday. I haven try it out personally bt he did say that it's pretty noisy. My fren has a Miele vacuum fr parquet flooring. Bt hor, it's pretty expensive ($400) compared to the Electrolux ($100+). FH was also considering Philips bt after i read all the negative comments hear, a bit apprehensive.

yea... my office uses this chair too and it's confortable for sitting on long hours. bt herman miller chairs are expensive..

Too excited and forgot to take pics ! hehehe ! I'll bring the cam tomorrow to take pics of the moving in and the new solid surface. Woo hoo !

hmm.. so bad ah ? not pure white leh... gt speckles on it one... or anything used to clean solid surface is fine..

Any tips on wat's good for solid surface (in terms of general cleaning and upkeep)? mine's gg to be white so hope to keep it from turning yellow

Good news ! ID talked to FH and he will change the solid surface top without any charge ! Feel so happy about it ! But I wonder if someone is spying here and told him abt the recommendation... hmmmmmmmm... hahahaha ! Feel a lot better now that everything is back on track. But I'll still wait for the bill Thanks all for the support !

Thanks Greycat and Cantona7 for ur support. I realli hope that the issue can be resolved amicably. Other than this, we have no other issue with him. In fact, we even have 3 other people who were impressed at the speed and work that he has done and considering taking him up for their reno.

Yep I agree with the rest. U clean then can see more and more things. Hehe ! Today so frustrated. ID installed the wrong colour. We chose white all along I'm sure. But then for some reason it's written in the materials sheet that it's black with some colourful spots. ARGHHHH ! ID says that he's gg to change but I dunno if he is waiving off the fee. I KNOW I chose white. ID was there with me. I changed my mind once and both are white. For the 3D drawings, he provided a white top. He even mentioned something about MAYBE he remember it as a white top with black spots. But now it's a black top with colourful spots. SO DIFFERENT ! Is it our fault for not checking properly ? I don't know. If I pointed that I wan THIS colour and he says the code is so and so and wrote it as such and I signed against it, am I wrong ? This is the ONLY big issue right now. Everyting was gg well so far. I was angry when he kept saying we signed the material sheet, we signed it , like pushing the blame all to us. When he was RIGHT there and KNEW that we ALWAYS chose white. ARGHHHHHH ! Advice pls. P.S. Sorry no pics guys. The colour combination is just horrible. I don't want to assault ur eyes with it. !!

it's gonna be white. i am pooped ! yesterday, i took half day to oversee the guys installing the ceiling fans. after that i took the rest of the dat to sweep, vacuum and mop the living room + 2 bedrooms. my back is achingggg ! solid surface gg to be installed today so i expect more dust. gonna clean up on Thursday and Friday after work and moving in things on Sat. Wheeeeeeeee !
