  1. I just found this new service in the TB group on facebook. They provide a service to help people save money and buy from taobao.. think it is useful for non-chinese speakers.. have a look at this page: https://www.facebook.com/SGTaobao4u
  2. Hi all, i am going get to wall power sockets from taobao, and found this: http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=2013.1.0.0.zcTXw7&scm=1007.77.3.0&id=26707308429&pvid=ccea917e-e417-43e1-8524-145bad690916&jlogid=p23140403c3c30 my chinese secretary checked with teh seller, and they confirm that it is 13A 250V which we can use in sgp. reason why i am THINKING of getting this is that i can use it for both SG appliances and CHina ones, like kettle, rice cooker etc. (ok my background, been living in Shanghai for a few years now, still here, and will be moving back when my apt is ready, so this means i have alot of appliances bought here that i want to ship back home). And in Shanghai, i have a extension chord which allows me to use BOTH SG and China plugs. So i thought, might as well find a wall power socket that can take both) And i also saw in Changi Airport, where they have this type of sockets at the 'resting' area for travellers to use their laptops etc. I hope i am right on this. If anyone has any comments/feedbacks about using such sockets, pls let me know, i would super appreciate it! Thank you!
  3. Hi, my shipment only just left China yesterday - i had added more products and due to the China's golden week, the office was shut. My total shipping for those items came up to SGd160 for economy (2 weeks), the express 7 days was about SGD740 something.. Personally, for the items i have bought + the shipping, i think it is a rather good price.
  4. Hi Miracle, I am currently using Peeka for those loot mentioned above - at least they will check for me. I think for non-breakable items, probably go with Amcom, but they dont check for you etc. Where else, Peeka and Daigou do check for you. For amcom, i have checked with her the price of a 20 ft container, it is rmb8500 excluding paper work, door to door. so really, it is all up to you.
  5. hi Miracle you just need to key in the price you see on the site, cos Peeka only captures the highest value, so you just change it accordingly. I am super new to this too - and am enjoying every sec of it! Peeka has been super awesome with my queries to ask the sellers. Now, fingers cross that all arrive on time, i opted for the 7 day express - cos based on what i have purchased it is still wayyyy cheaper than getting it in sgp - about 600SG cheaper for my whole loot! Loot: 2 kohler toilet basins 2 kohler taps 1 kitchen sink (sellena) 1 kitchen tap 2 sets of sanitary wares, like towel rag, toilet roll holder etc 2 shower rack may have also 'accidentally' added some other items like Shoes, Bags etc.. heeeheee!
  6. yeah i have done that too, but cant see anything from jpeg file lehh... Frank Man, can you email me darjoe00@yahoo.com or can simply attach it as a file in the PM here? Thanks!

  8. Hello Jack Thanks so much for you reply. Just to confirm (sorry lah, me electric-idiot), we can use 10A in Singapore for light switches EXCEPT aircon, is that right? I was told we can go higher than 13A but cannot lower. So i am scouting around for either 13A or 16A? Thanks!
