  1. Wife eyeing these boxes. Ask her buy for what? She said "Buy first, decide later."
  2. Her ID is her Hubby Mr. Foo from Custombox. Can be found on FB.
  3. It is very easy to hit 1cubic metre. Just buy a few more items. Make sure buy the delivery longest first and the with stock last, so you can consolidate accordingly.
  4. Starmex uplorry in 2 years, that is a real surprise. Mine last Starmex lasted 10 years.
  5. New Study Room My new study room is up. Luckily overall the place still looks bright enough. Study room on the left. Cut out area planning to do something.Door opening leads to Kitchen. Entrance to the study room, with back facing the walkway to the rooms. Another view.
  6. 2 burner type ranges from 300mm to 860mm. 300mm feel a little too small, suitable for those studio, maybe a 600mm may suit your needs. But this will restrict the range you can get though. Good to know there is top cabinet. 300mm walking space is no doubt narrow but depends on needs. If purely for sleeping only, then it is worth the inconvenience. Afterall, not a constant used passage way. Am doing similar way in order to keep the rooms intact and maximize wardrobe space. Tough choice, not easy on planning.
  7. Finally surface har, normally you dive one. In between work so go look see.
  8. Pardon me, if you plan the kitchen layout this way, it kinda make no sense. I presume the red box represent the fridge. Fridge will look isolated and stand alone. Then the table top 3600 - L shape side - hob 750mm - sink 800mm, you are left with 1500mm or lesser. 1500mm divide into 3 for the space between hob, sink and the L shape and you are left with miserable space. So unless you intend to keep the rice cooker, coffee maker, microwave etc everytime you use them, else you are left with no space to prepare your food. Also bottom cabinet only may save cost but you will run into storage space issues. Dont underestimate house hold appliances size needs. Coffee machine, woks, pans, steamer, toaster, blender, juicer, toaster, steamboat and the list goes on. Very soon you will find space running out and will turn to bomb shelter. Just my 2 cents.
  9. To put the wardrobe in the room, you have to sacrifice the walking space a little.Do a full length along the 4445mm wall. When ending near the windows, do a open quarter circle shelving so it will not block the windows visually. Or you can have a dressing table/top over that corner. Place the bed facing the wardrobe, when lay down, feet facing the doors of wardrobe. Use only sliding doors, choose a bed frame without side protruding edges, especially where the feet are. Base on estimation, 3000 - 600 wardrobe depth - 2000mm bed frame, plus minus may still have about 300mm of walking space. Anyway if MBR purely for sleeping, then should be enough. Else you have to sacrifice another room's wardrobe for personal use if design otherwise.
  10. I was about to spill your name out when Makan asked about prices but seems like your radar is working.
  11. The are many others, quote a big nursery. But guess wont be there for much longer. Likely to be redevelop. Pot for mum's bonzai..... Prices not too sure, saw orchids going for $12.50. PIE Heading towards Tuas, exit Jalan Bahar. Drive along Jln Bahar till Jurong West Ave 3 (second traffic light), left turn into Jurong West Ave 3. Or drive along Jln Bahar till first left turn junction. All the way to the end (T junction) and you will see the nursery. (facing the HDBs) Address: Thong Hup Gardens Pte Ltd2 Jurong West Street 25Singapore 648325
  12. In the end..... I bought a pot only.....
  13. Yup the L balcony gives it a very condo feel and the glass railing wall completes the look.
  14. I personally do not recommend side by side. The external litres are no doubt bigger than the biggest 2 doors but the internal is actually much smaller. Imagine keep a whole chicken in side by side, one compartment will be full already. 2 doors will still offer more free play. I will rather save the couple of hundreds and put on other items. Also, if the fridge fail, then will have buy back a side by side to fit in the space allocated. Given the layout and small HDB sizes nowadays, big fridge means less table top area for the kitchen.
  15. Tmall Just bout some lightnings from Tmall. Keeping fingers cross for all to arrive in one piece. Dont ask me for the links, will not share till I lay my hands on them cos I dont know how the quality is. Bedside table light x 2 Bedroom ceiling light x 2 Common toilet light x 1 MBR toilet light x 1 Study lamp x 01 Table lamp x 1 Above all cost RMB1792 including freight to China warehouse. Offered discount RMB1680. Bargain to RMB1600. What can I say, RMB1600 sometimes cannot even get a decent dining light in Singapore.
