I guess my reno journey is a very rocky one.. after Mr World Best aircon man, my chimney hood shattered, as picture, to many many small small pieces of glass!! was busy being tossed around by the service agent and the place that we bought the chimney hood from. A very bad experience, i wish i did not even bought the hood in the 1st place. I wish i spend the money on oven instead of the hood that gave me so much trouble!! After this was ... Courts. They decided to tell me that the dining set is OOS on the day of delivery when i already took leave for it. SO PROMPT service ah.. 11-3pm delivery yet i only received the call to inform me OOS at 1pm!! They tried to tell me that they been calling since a week ago, but sadly to say, my partner & I did not receive any missed call at all as we know coming week is like busy week for us, many deliveries etc. SO we personally went down to courts ( thinking of maybe see what other available set they have) , but somehow the 1st person we approached happened to be a manager trainee and we happened to find out that the last set was sold only 2 days ago, so how can the sales personel said that she called me 1 week ago? Somemore the manager trainee even checked for us which outlet still have it, even their display set etc and he happened to be the person who sold the last 2 sets in another outlet!! WELL, we can be nice but we hate liars. When you started your nonsense, we will give u more nonsense than you expected it! & to add up after the chimney hood, we become volcanoes, we flare with just a little bit of mistake. lastly, my reno came to an end since 2 wks ago. Just left toilet accessories which i bought from Taobao to be delivered... I love all the colours that we chose! the only thing that i probably will rave about is taobao! products from there is just as good as from Spore... I saved on my lights...

bought... mostly from megadiscount store. but just found out that goh ah bee is cheaper ( for fan.. but cash and carry.. which is not convenient for me, we don't drive) HAHAHA. google goh ah bee's no. and call them with the model you want..

more pics up! update for today, painting for MBR and living room done~! just want to share this **** work! omg. the aircon man did not did a good job after informing the person to redo.. this is what happened next.. still.. standard is not there!! called the aircon man and irritated him! I'm gonna hold the last payment till he give me a satisfying work! i doubt anyone will want their new house yet look like this!! what kind of trunking work is that?! I shall not post the name of aircon man here, unless the final work is still KNS.

so start back from where i stopped. we had tiling started on 15 Jan. and it was completed by 28 Jan. So it was quite fast and furious. as pics to be honest. things were smooth at the start. these were pics from 28/1/14. But i guess probably didn't put in effort after some times that caused some hiccups. i had an early miscarriage during CNY i was no longer interested in doing anything. passed all the responsibility to hubby. great! that is where all the hiccups started! - mr foo tot we do not need to 'flush MBR wall even, HAHA! & it was very last min yest i called him up and checked if he is doing anything? coz i've arranged for painter on tuesday. Luckily he said it can be done before tuesday.....henggg ahhH - Hubby got it all wrong... he tot dark color for whole room, light color for 1 side of the wall for 1 bedroom.. ?!??! i don't know what is he thinking.. luckily still can change before delivery.. i'm just glad.. and hopefully everything back in place! our electrician is my fil. painter is mil's friend. ( i will share contact later once my paintings + touch up all done) currently waiting for painting to take place ( on coming tues) & awaiting for carpentry.

Have chosen my flooring. in fact i only pick my flooring on 12/1/14, foo had arranged to start tiling on 15/1/14. I love my black sesame flooring! i'm quite busy recently.. but not with renovation stuffs. more of like child's childcare etc, work... small little things! actually i feel like buying lightings from TB but its china CNY! long holiday for them.. hiak hiak. i like this as dining table.. but... but.. but.. the top is too woody. ( my house is suppose to avoid wood stuffs... as reco by fs master). hiak hiak! hopefully soon i will be able to upload more pics! hahahaha. quite impossible since its gonna be CNY soon.

somehow i give the same idea but the diff of quote is 10K. and then of coz Mr K do specific what he will be using like blum etc. which is considered as the more atas material. So it will be gd if u do some homework too. Like certain things u want to specific and get a more specific quote. anyway both have their own fans! hmm. the alan that makanlogy engaged, there was a mixed review from people who engaged with him.. So to save my trouble i decided to be lazy to meet another contractor. it seems like his quote is not bad =)

Ah... thanks Ocean for the suggestion. I guess.. erm. after my fengshui review, many plans have changed. In fact i'm into scandi kind of style but after the review, the fs mentioned it would be good to have more metal in the home so... MISSION on hold currently, till further notice! ( I gotten my key last month, went twice. but had not done anything to it yet. ) the above floor plan as wished has changed to no low cabinet in the living room. and definityly can't have a 12ft warobe as bed has to be at that area as advised by fs master! luckyhuathuat u've a T-blog too? would love to see! Takashi, do u have a T-blog too? HEE. i would love to see diff designs especially same layout somemore! miracleSG.. wah.. abit chim. any picture?
