  1. Those areas will be double storey walls. Plus a bit scary closer towards the exterior edges... lol
  2. Hmm, I did come across a T-blog thread whereby the owner installed double glazed windows. Not sure about approval though. Am looking for resale units, so came across this unit.. was thinking if there's solutions to the noise.. but think will probably pass. These windows aren't cheap, plus next time wanna resell might not be easy again. =)
  3. Hi All, Wanna check with you guys. For units that are situated near a school and beside MRT tracks. There'll be the noise from the school morning ceremony, etc... noise from the MRT travelling past your home etc.. Is there a way to eliminate or at least minimise the noise level? Does double glazed glass windows do wonders?
  4. btw would the singer sewing machine bottom be suitable in a toilet? hahaha... always see it as support for table tops more often... for the toilet it's gonna be more moist in there, gotta make sure it's anti rust.. more cleaning for you..
  5. Haha, nope.. that Gucci was outrageously priced during then.. however, based on COE now, it's even worse now. Btw, your kitchen seems rather ok. It seems rather bare now because your appliances, etc aren't there yet. Add in a wall rod for hanging pots & pans or condiments and you'll start having lots of colours in... can check out the bulthaup kitchen for some inspirations..
  6. How does your study room glass doors open up? 2k doors... Ouch
  7. Occupation sickness... Hahaha... Yea used to... For half a yr.. After that I got the 500 for 2yrs...
  8. idea. you even have the product link in ur blog just before anyone could ask. haha.. nice!
  9. Have this idea stuck in my mind after a stay at Capella. They have automated curtains that can pull open sideways too. I got to say man, this is one most awesome DIY I've ever seen... Got to seek ur expertise if I get the chance to do up my place. Love it lots!
  10. lol just managed to finish all from page 1 and realised already an accomplished mission.. haha... woots, thumbs up! ur contractor seems super reliable and works at lightning speed.
  11. One of the units I'm viewing currently has similar pipe layout in the shower cubicle, but a slimmer horizontal one nearer to the ground, raised with an interconnecting vertical pipe to the ground, and then a double up sized pipe from the "pipe trunk" that starts from the ceiling to ground, at waist level on top of the slim pipe... like "2@#&@" Are you going to hide that pipe or?
  12. Loving your kitchen entrance and the dining hall setup.. the table plus the feature floor super retro.. like those kopitiam from the past... NICE!
  13. Keen to know this too...
  14. Hi, care to share roughly how much your reno cost (incl id, excl those taobao loots).. thinking of getting a 3i, kitchen is in bad state, got to redo like yours, but only one toilet which is by default split into wet and dry, meaning 2 small cubicles, one for shower, one with toilet bowl... It's on the top floor so the shower cubicle got huge pipes on the ground area as well.. gonna be a headache.. so trying to estimate how much I have to fork out if I get that unit...
