think they will paint the bolt according to your gate colour.. For mine, they painted it and it blends well with the natural colour of the gate as for rusting, so far mine has done for abt 4mths, no rust yet

Yupp..agree that the installation is not easy..i saw the uncle took almost 20mins to install for me. My bro installed the lock himself also, he also complain that its not easy..so i guess that if we r paying around $40+ more, its still reasonable
