hmm.. my opinion is that renting to 3 guys is indeed a disaster. My mum rented a room to 3 guys also(age 35+). Think we have the similar problem. If renting out to a couple or 1 person is still okay right? generally couple or 1 person will be very clean cos the whole room is theirs. If 3 person, 1 person see the other person so lazy, he also becomes lazy and dont bother abt cleaning the coffee powder etc on the floor

i can say the univonna recliner sofa is .i bought it from there and is still enjoying the sofa. The quality is so far so good

I bought from Furniture Club (FC). ordered all black chairs but during delivery date, FC told me that black chairs are out of stock, must wait 1-2mths. That time was CNY and i cant wait cos i cant expect my guest to come to my hse without chairs. I took the loan chair from FC but its so dirty. In the end i just call FC to deliver white chair to me. I like the black chairs so much but no choice have to accept the white chairs. I also experience this kind of bad service..i was telling myself "comeon if black chair dont have stock and have to wait for so long, FC shld have told me earlier when i bought my dining set. Then i will have chosen another set already" hai.. so overall, i still think that urs is better deal (in terms of price and similar service)

which shop will u chose: 1) a shop that gives u the best rate immediately. No matter how u negotiate, the shop will insist "cannot la, this is the best i can give" 2) a shop that mark up 30% higher, slowly let u negotiate. If someone who dont negotiate, thats it. The shop earn so much Comment: From point 2 above, this shop really turn people down. I will never buy from such shops. Most ID bring u to this shop. My ID also brought me to this type of shop, i need to negotiate myself. Then my ID also negotiate abit for me, but overall i think my ID gain some commission too cos i feel that my lights is still not the cheapest. Its like eg, the shop marked up 30%, i negotiated off 15%. My ID negotiated off for me another 10%. ID earn 5% From point 1, as per IntrigueR, Chels*a lighting is an example of this type of shop. Any other people knows such similar lighting shops also can share share. So far another similar shop located beside Chels*a lighting. Think its called PanT*c lighting.

I will still think that if we go alone is better. Source for a few lighting shops (3-4shops) and u know the market rate. Sure will not get chop carrot. The few shops in nearby Chelsea lighting is also good. You dont even have to source for price at all. They straight away give u the best price. i agree that ID sure get some commission for bringing u there. This commission comes from u to the lighting shop. ID bring you to that shop, most likely u will not say "i think abt it". Cos ur ID is there already. If u think abt it, ur ID not be following u to other shop to see. Hence u will feel that "i dont want to waste my ID time also, i will just buy from here" Its actually quite fun to shop for the lights yourself. No pressure, and u can get the best deal

I start the ball rolling Mine is abt $64 last month. Aircon: Didnt use cos dint install aircon Comment Always on too many lights at home. I didnt off all my unused switches cos too troublesome to always off the power everyday (i know off save electricity,but can it save alot? not sure also). Anyone who off their switches everyday can let us know ur electricity bill? I use washing machine twice to 3 times per week

hehe ok we will take note of Prima Lighting. Life is Membina is good, everytime hungry can just go downstairs to buy mixed rice, v convenient keke. But clothes v difficult to dry. sigh. Somemore nowadays raining. I also dun dare to hang my clothes outside cos scared got birds come and dirty it. My neighbour everyday open his door, so safety wise also quite good cos they r my live security guard How's your life at membina also? haiyo i think ur clothes can be easily dry loh cos u stay so high, so windy..btw do u hang ur clothes outside or inside the kitchen?

Do CD still bring their customers to that "black" lighting shop? (i saw h4happy almost got chopped carrot that time, phew) i have heard abt that incident, got 1 comment, hope wun offend anyone - If i am a reno company, i should know the price of lightings than anybody else. Correct? So if i were to recommend my customer to a lighting shop, i will know whether is the shop's price reasonable or not. If my customer blur blur just buy a light that cost double the market price, i should have helped my customer to negotiate the price, or tell my customer not to buy correct? how come CD can just let h4happy pay the $ and go? (unless the ID is not there with his client). "Its like throwing my customer into the sea to feed shark, then pull my customer back from the sea after my customer realised that there is shark there.."

Bought a $10 clock and its done Its a shop at Sungei kadut, cant remember the name.. oh ya i also looking for bookshelves actually. So far i still feels that vhive is still the best, after sourcing for so long..
