That is, they sprinkle a kind of pink powder at the nest opening. This termites will carry this powder to the queen and kill the entire colony. Initial rentokil will charge like $100 to kill all the nest in the entire house.

Yap, get the metal scraper as what Mace suggested. If you have a big area, don't get over ambitious. Cos it is not easy to remove old sealant. After scraping (go easy) .Then spray on 3M Citrus-Based Adhesive Remover Spray This will soften the remaining sealant. Apply grease, using cloth over your nail to remove all remaining sealant. Prepare the joint with masking tape to faciliate applying new sealant Peel off tape before it dry up. Remember to find a good time to do, not while you are busy and that this area will be not use. Cos new sealant need to cure dry.
