  1. First check, try play DVD/VCD ... picture okay ? Yes Then must be the signal. I had this problem also last time. Normal TV point ( lines ) Starhub okay But later upgrade to digital settop ( small type ) better picture now. Initially thought, it was the fan interference that create this line. When buying TV, always check the current TV channel ( normal/HD ) Movie picture sure very swee swee one.
  2. Space no issue, currently 3 outdoors unit sits on the ledge. What u mean by 38k model , salesman never offer that to me.
  3. If included, use them lah. LG also use a pool of contractor. It is just bolting plug to wall, not a specialize job. Can also DIY, most important is to decide the location.
  4. You surprise me ......u mean butt can get stuck ? in cold country ?
  5. I thought u need to change the keyhole mechanism only ( heart ) No need to change the whole lock. Can take out, buy the spares and DIY
  6. Oh.. need electricity ? Not battery operated ? Wah! like that don't want liao. Get the chance to use once in friend's hse in Osaka. Best place to go in the morning ( warm ) Use hand spray also, but my kids spray them like spray gun. Think of it, now my kids cannot use public toilet, cos they says no gun inside.
  7. Door ...don't need change, just paint over it and add some wood trimming. Can DIY ...
  8. Thanks for all the info, Just found out, difference of Multi / Single. 1. High initial cost 2. Cooling not affected by using all together 3. No savings in Elect, cos it depends on indoor unit ( KWH ) My requirment, is using all 3 rooms together ( 2 X 9000 ) + ( 1 X 12000 ) System 3 may not be able to cool all at 1 time. Starmex do not have single inverter. ( strange ? ) Got some rough estimate ... Inverter Panasonic ( 2+1 ) = 2039+1049 = 3088 Mitsubishi ( 2+1 ) = 2099+929=3028 ( 1 = non inverter ) / (2+1) all non inv = 1679+929=2608 Mitsubishi ( Sys3 ) = 2879 ( total BTU 28,000 ) Non Inverter Mitsubishi ( Sys3 ) = 2159 ( but total BTU only 20,000 ) means 776 or 866 maybe cannot cool the room Est not include conceal pipe & stainless steel bracket
  9. Check with GC.... salesman says generally $150 for sys 3. ( conceal pipe ) But could go up to $300 depends after viewing... This job is removing existing and replace new .... If cannot remove, will inform to owner Insulation neccessary only if pipe length too long....
  10. Sorry bro Hocl, Cannot comments cos, me too need to change existing conceal pipe. Thought I learn some from you. But don't they ask you the length of layout and type of installation (new line or remove existing) before quotation, guess these does not matter on the quote......? I am kinda worry, they may damage some of my existing structure if they remove existing line Kinda strange, my previous hse expose pipe cause condensation, current conceal no problem Maybe, don't know problem cos cannot see..mah. Will keep u posted if any info.
  11. Care to share what coy. $500 is for conceal piping ? $500 is for new conceal line or remove existing and replace new conceal line. ?
  12. Current model ( National ) 3 X Single split 10 years old Conceal pipe Inverter - Not sure ...maybe not Electric Bill - $220 Inverter / Non Inverter Choose inverter cos an inverter has a variable speed compressor. The rotation speed frequency is regulated intelligently to meet specific cooling load requirement. Power consumption is thus more efficient. My bills very high !! Single / Multi ? Any recommendation ...which is better ? Conceal Pipe ? Will probably get new ones ( Make new lines ) Heard that Mitsubishi is good for energy saving. Not just becos of Mr Liang Adverts. Is that true. LG nice look Korea girls but not worth.
  13. Why so high now ? .... Can family grant ( 30 ~ 40k ) be used to pay for COV ? Otherwise, how to afford .... ? Only people from previous SERS and profit from previous sales can buy .... Very scary price now .
  14. Chances are u r not the only with this problem. ( others may help ) Introduce yourself, buy them some chocolates or wine Try telling them yr problem politely. It may be this guy is doing DIY painting of some kind... Perhaps, this problem may go away.
  15. Pay comm ? Em... Why we pay .. for this reasons 1. Paperwork ( no need if u hv time to run the errands ) 2. Negotiation with seller / seller agent ( no need if u r good nego ppl ) 3. Market trend & information ( no need if u hv time to check good lobang ) 4. Arrange viewing , taking calls ...etc But legal fees is a must.... If high supply, no need buyer agents, easy buy & nego But low supply, agent must do cold calls to check availability. Also, in the case of overseas buyer, agent helps to do the screening.
  16. Just what I suspect, always anticipate things that may happen. Wah, like this short life leh. Many things to worry also. Insurance can lighten your burden of worry. Of course for a minimum sum.
  17. R u a serious seller ? seems not. Not actually sure of yr valuation, but if agent can sell yr hse at very high COV, says 200k above COV, then this comm..... Perhaps, he may be more motivated to market yr hse at a good price. Sometimes, end of the day, agent cut half the comm to offer the buyer so as to close the deal.
  18. Anyone using them ? Care to comment ? Pros & Cons Japan popular ...how abt here ? Don't use before also comment lah .... http://www.idealm1.com/
  19. I also don't know why, but buyer save the comm. for pte prop to pay for the lawyer fees. It's like 2k plus if it is a clear cut case. Advise yr friend u can help to save the agent comm but u may use up many hours Then see what she says. QUOTE(l_club23 @ Aug 2 2007, 04:38 PM) Found out that to be a proper property agent, you need some kind of license. Hi l_club23 , Don't be an agent, be a lawyer ....
  20. Initially it is okay ..... guess have to be careful when cleaning. Usually if vacuum it is okay .... Only worry is if you were to wipe the blade .... There is some angle to each blade, Blade are screw to the holder. If u sort of twist the blade, balancing will be out again ( esp on high speed ) Like car mah.... even after wheel balance, axle also must align ....
  21. My deco sense to decide the focus of attention in each area. Usually for hall, it will be the Video display backdrop..etc. Unless you wish to protray those starry effect on yr ceiling. But then again, it may looks like UFO circling the universe. Downlights enhance objects ( makes object not looks flat ) It is the lights, not the fitting that does the job. I won't ought for fancy fitting Symetrical & simple makes ceiling blend with yr deco. Also, chrome material, if contact with hands ( moisture ) will also tanished. First 3 months very nice, after that gold & black.
  22. Thanks to all bros & sis, My dining chairs " only fabric cushion seats " , back rest all wood. Check liao, plywood base, fabric secure by stapler type. Actually, can DIY myself, but very messy leh. Also must buy the super stapler gun & bullet. My toolbox already have so many barang barang Soon, any forumers can ask me to do minor repair for them ( at some cost lah ) Average chair cost $80. if can DIY or upholse at $20 Can save 60 X 6 = $360. So many things must upgrade, cannot buy all new mah. Also new chairs must match table, Aiyah boh pian leh
  23. Mmm....guess all forums reader are experts in reno of new stuff heh. Poor me, thinking of upholstery only.
  24. The reason I took out the lights from the fan is not the shadow .... But, if u were to observe carefully. the lights actually sway slightly along with the wobbling. Can try by holding a stationary object against the light and see whether it moves away from the reference. ( at mid / high speed ) This happen even thought the mounting is correct. Not sure whether affect the eyes or not, but take them out already. But, if day time use fan, night time use air con & light. I think okay lah.
  25. No wonder Sanyo profits are at rock bottom. Customer like us, spend 50 cents for 1 year. Cheaper than coffee 80 cents
