hi Zhiz, I am doing reno in Tampines too. Can't help but notice that I had selected the toilet floor tile of the same texture as yours. Can I know if it is easy to clean and does the floor gets dry easily. Also, you change the mirror, from the round type to the square ones ? By the way, I did a frosted glass door to my toilet entrance. Same as yours I had problem with my common toilet entrance, HDB wouldn't allow me to shift 2 feet to the left, just cut and fill 2 fts also cannot. Reason ( Prefab flats & > 24 yrs ) But then, my current layout entrance to the kitchen wall are all replace by sliding door, yet they approved the prevoius owner . HDB ppl really amazed me

Where In Singapore Got Sell Sanus Wall Mount Bracket?
Warrior88 replied to eurostar's topic in Electronics & Electricals
Saw Sanus/Queenie at Giant too .... But the Queenie brand are the cheaper ones. -
Warpage is due to uneven force to tall door. Usually happens if your handle is below the panel, thus each time you open, you are twisting the door. Thus, in future make 2 doors instead of a all 1. Or handle should be at the centre of the panel.

Hdb 2nd Appointment
Warrior88 replied to Warrior88's topic in Housing Rules, Policies and Procedures
Thanks for all the replies, just call up my lawyer, what jtec14 says is correct. Max = 8wks, other seller must compensate daily charge ( 10% purchase price / 365 ) . Eg, purchase price = 400k, daily charge = 110 ... may allow up to max 21 days. Lawyer says buyer is at the losing end, if they don't turn up on 2nd appointment, at most lawyer can issue this compensate letter. HDB boh chap :( -
Hi everyone, I am a buyer. At the 1st appointment, we agreed on the completion date ( 2nd appointment ) = 30/12/2009 This is the end of 8th week. Got a feeling seller dont wanna release the hse. Got a call from seller, saying that he had approached HDB to ask for extension until 2/1/2010 3 days delay. He mention that he will pay compensation through HDB. Keep telling me he got the rights to delay this date. Questions I have, do we have the rights to reject them and what will the unforseen problem I will face if I don't give in ... Anyone had this experience ? Any comments will be appreciated

Depends whether house maintain by helper or yourself. Helper usually use spray water from the hose happily. Even kitchen wash bason will rot if base not make of concrete with helper around

Internal Pipes Leaking Into Outer Walls
Warrior88 replied to darryl's topic in Home Maintenance & Repairs
Guest toilet water leaks... same thing contractor says must hack wall....blah, how much ? don't know depends on where leaks...em...around $2000 lah.... Next, since there are 2 pipes coming in ( 1 hot , 1 cold ) I shut down the hot water tap and check the next day, sure it must be the hot water pipe. 3 options 1. Hack the wall, make good 2. Make a new tap at the hot water side to stop the water ( no hot water lah .. ) 3. Proceed with 2, reconnect exposed hot water pipe direct to mixer tap -
Bump across this website. Thought may help you to estimate your reno and a rough guide of each reno http://www.interiordesign.com.sg/pricelist.html

Sure, thats what they told me, but then again for $70 , I am still considering whether if the new air con installer will be upset and give me lousy service cos they cannot get extra income.

Timeline On Loan
Warrior88 replied to william.chua.sk's topic in Housing Rules, Policies and Procedures
Request from a few banks, even though you have shortlist your preferred bank, they may have terms that do not suit you. ( eg. 70% loan of the valuation ) Bank will not issue you the hard copy unless you confirm taking their package. Deadline is the same time as the option excercise date 4pm. You may ask the banker to meet you at the seller premises. -
Make a call after seraching the classified ads. Scrap dealer accept system 2 =$40, system 1 =$30
