Hello all.. check with you all, for homogenous tiles for the living room, labour + tiles, how much are you all paying for? An ID charged us $2753 for price range $4.28 to $4.80psq for labour and tiles. Also, anyone not doing false ceiling and Lbox but doing cornices? How much are you all charged? We are charged $1100 for the whole house. And also, anyone doing bench with cushion and storage for the dining area? And custom made dining table? We are charged about $3000 for that. Hai. hai. abit scared dio tok!

Helo fellow neighbours, just went to Bukit Merah Branch Office to apply for cement screeding today. Nearly fell aslp while waiting for my turn. Check with you all, is it ok for the cement screeding to be done b4 the reno starts? as in, would it affect any wiring or wat? Hope it's not too silly a qn. haha.

The view is so nice. =) Realise that when i'm in my unit in blk 26C, even though i'm staying on a high floor, there's nothing much to see. Sometimes wonder if it was a correct choice choosing our unit. We were deciding b/w #14-138 and our unit in 26C. in the end we took our unit in 26C cos 25th floor. But well, aiya, it's over liao la. ya, understand that it's not a popularity contest. just that if it's not popular, it's more difficult to find country style related furnishings. i've seen Ikea have some nice country style furnitures, but not sure if they're of ok quality. other than that, any idea where else will have nice country style bed frame? esp those with storage below? and tv console as well?

Hi all Was reading the fengshui thread, and realise that stove cannot face window or kitchen door. Then our kitchen is so small, duno how to put also. hai. anyone seen a fengshui master? where are you placing your stove? Also, anyone engaging Supreme to do your laminate flooring for bedroom? how much they charging? have sort of decided on using laminate instead of parquet. think my kids will prob destroy the parquet flooring with scratches.

Haha, thinking back, i understand how you feel. haha. when i was in my 30+ weeks, i was so looking foward to seeing my twins, but on the other hand, i was hoping to keep them in me for at least till 37 weeks cos i had some feedback that there are higher chances that twins will come out premature. when they finally came out, hb and i were so tired he asked me if i can put them back in my tummy for a few hours so we can have a good slp. haha.

The curtains are sooo sweet! I like them! I'm also planning to do my house in country style, and i can totally understand the headache u all are going through... Got a quote for kitchen cabinets from forest in Thomson. They specialise in country style carpentry. The cabinets (14 ft for top and 10 ft for bottom) + sink + hood + solid top already cost nearing 7k. wanna faint man! but i guess it's because they are using solid wood, that's why so ex. but comparing to a normal laminate with abs trimming set of cabinets, it's double the price. did you do your kitchen in country style also?
