  1. For older doggies, they will "forget" after a while and revert back to their old habit. Unless my hubby finds time to re-train summer. Puppies easier to train, cos they will remember straight away after some disciplining and rewards.
  2. You using gas cyclinders right? If so, then it would be hard to have space leftover underneath the stove. But sink area you screw the wall baskets on the behind of the doors or fit in a pull out basket. You can recce out the baskets you have in mind and get the dimensions first then you can discuss with your id on how to fit in smaller drawers.
  3. kekeke nvm, sumobear will definitely find it useful after all he's going to be a father! Mist, got pics of your babies? I love babies but Im not totally prepared for a kid yet kekeke
  4. My hubby's dog, summer is about 5 yrs old. Before we got our current place, summer stayed with my PILs at their place cos hubby staying somewhere else last time. So summer become like my PILs' son and my FIL spoils him. Its certainly difficult to break a long time habit esp for an old doggie. That why we had to resort to medicated oil as the last alternative after trying this horrible cheapo cologne spray my FIL gave us, to deter summer from peeing. So far, its working now, will have to see how within the next couple of weeks. Its the first week now. Ya summer drove me crazy with his pee-ing in the house that I ended up having to spot check every few times in the day and at night. Keke but before you apply to the areas, open the cap and put the medicated oil for your dog to sniff. If he dun like the smell based on his reaction, you can try it out on the areas.
  5. try CIF le. it works to keep S/S clean and from any rust. Tried it out on my rusting piping tip and the rust is gone after some vigorous rubbing at the inside besides the outside
  6. quite nice your place ya dogs urine is terribly acidic. And I can smell it from the study room whenever my hubby's dog pee alot in the kitchen
  7. not bad le kopitehC, your dog looks chubby based on the pic of her in the wardrobe Jeddie, my hubby's dog have a habit of pee-ing almost everywhere until we discovered he has some allergy to medicated oil - he can't stop sneezing and he totally dun like medicated oil shown to him. So we just dropped some medicated oil onto the areas he like to pee at. So far, got some improvements now cos he pee on paper and take him out for walks so he can empty his bladder more.
  8. Tell you what, you put a leg bracelet with a icon or name tag for which twin so that you can identify which is the one you're carrying ma. You see, its very hard to identify identical twins apart when they've the youth on their side but will be easily discernable with age. Fraternal twins will have similiar facial features but will grow distinctly different slowly. That's what i observed from looking at other people who are twins. Anyway you can extract milk with a pump and store it away for another time, this way you won't feel so tired carrying & feeding one baby after the first.
  9. um.. dun think this is the worst bit. The worst part is that the begining has begun until for the next 20 years. Nightly feeding is only temporary ma. But seeing your kid grow up healthy is life's enjoyment too.
  10. Oh a JRT, just saw the pix. No wonder. JRTs are super active one. Last time got one JRT latching on to my leg instead of a female doggie for some "comfort".
  11. KopitehC, what breed is your doggie? Dogs sure have alot of pee but then again small breeds have small bladder which is why urine needs to be emptied often. Your dog must like water so much to drink alot regularly.
  12. Yes they do give refunds back, return back to your credit card if you paid with credit card or voucher from ikea. I did a "return back" there before a few months ago and they refund me back to my credit card. Just bring the receipt with you.
  13. Hey virgo, Thanks for the compliments, paiseh cos my blog not much pix now that take down some pix already & my blog is kinda obsolete liao now that my reno is done.
  14. Ah a 5 room flat? I thought this is a 4 room flat le. The floorplan looks exactly like the 4 room layout we saw on the showflat. But yes the kitchen is really small but means you save some $$ on the kitchen carpentry costs since not big le.
  15. Yes the price is cheaper during exhibition.
  16. nice nice, looks very cosy also!!! Like the MBR better cos your bed looks really inviting and you manage to squeeze in a settee also. Kitchen does look very tiny with the carpentry up. I remember I went to the showflat there to see & I was thinking "wao, so small".. lol. The 5 room flat's kitchen area is bigger in comparison.
  17. ah nvm about the mirror, its not really a big problem unless you want to return to ikea? they got a 30 days refund you know? Pix Pix Pix
  18. Your toilet & kitchen have that look of cement screed with the tiles in that colour. Heh. Water leakage is a serious problem. It could be the upstairs unit that is causing it unless you stay on the top floor.
  19. Hm any budget you have for your dining table & coffee table? You know alot of those companies sell similar tables nowdays now. You can take your time to look through le. If you want cheaper alternatives, you can consider JB. But having a glass table is no joke, it accumulates dust very fast. IMHO, 1.8k is not cheap, scary that the sofa quality would be compromised then how?
  20. If going by ID, it might be slightly more ex as there is a commission to be earned in the ID's favour. So check with your ID the price per psf he will give you and compare with the direct company like Pergo, Vohringer, supreme or kronotex. Also it depends on what grade are you getting, AC3, AC4 or AC5? 5.20psf is ex. which company you approached?
  21. Spam chop here. Looks like you've planned ahead with your layout. How about showing us the pix now?
  22. kekeke u will need them to clean the place ma, sky. Besides got wardrobe, kitchen cabinet & bar counter carpentry done. Oh ya you will need a vacuum cleaner & u might want to bring newspapers for cleaning the windows with.
  23. your baby is sure a pampered one. I wish i was afforded the pampering treatment too. haha but me not young liao.
  24. Uh, you order from Life Story ah? It depends on what you're looking for & on your budget too. What type of dining table & coffee table you have in mind? Glass? Wood? Steel?
  25. But if you're going on a vacation, would you just do some cooking in your own style instead of sampling thai food?? Then a vacation is totally off the mark & a kitchenette is sort of wasted in a apartment hotel unless its for long term stay IMHO But the layout looks interesting given that its 52 sqm for a 2 bedroom apartment & the MBR toilet is kinda spacious.
