Insanepoly, what's the length of your custom made L-Shape study table & the cost for it including that for the bookshelf cabinets in your study room?

Poor Yuki, her eyes are soo big like that when terrified. Bluberi, my mum use AMC also~~~~ She bought a set of AMC products from pots, pans.. big & small ones also. That was over 5-10 years ago and its still serving well. For one thing AMC products is on a par with the WMF products & confirm stable too. I had a look at the WMF products the other time, so the AMC products should be more or less on a par with WMF from my viewpoint.

Hey gals, Im using a portable microwave oven with convectional function. Inverter type by panasonic. Initially thought of getting a convectional oven but I realise that in such "what ifs" situation that I don't use the oven often as I should be, its a waste of the money. This is the model I'm using now. http://www.panasonic.com.sg/web/pid/1141 It's a new model according to the sales person and it was selling for 399 in Feb Greycat, yup that is a cupcake.. I looked up the recipes on cupcakes, cakes & cookies online & followed the steps through trial & error myself. I have been compiling a small listing of cupcakes, cookies & cake recipes myself. I even found some food blogs that come with recipes. Its still cheaper than going for classes hehe but yes you can join if you want. I'm just a beginner at cooking & baking though. Ranval, I was relieved that my cupcakes turned out well in the end since it was my maiden attempt!

Babytan, good luck to you on your moving, it should not be a problem for you and ur hubby + the doggies as long as got water & lights. Just cross the bridge when you come to it and worry about the whole thing later since take a step at a time is better than nothing.

We didn't have any furniture in the house when we moved in, it's only after the major areas for paintworks have been settled that the furniture delivery came in later. Currently left with 2 other bedrooms + 3 doors to paint lolx.. Just last week painted the HHS door and 2 weeks before, the main gate. See, we taking our sweet time to paint now that we've settled the major areas for paintwork. Washing machine and fridge is ok. Bed & PC you can lock in the room right? Ya it will be dusty in areas where drilling is done. But mostly the workers will do their best to clean up since there's bound to be chemical wash right? This one, you can't move in your furniture if have chemical wash right?

Can I say myself??? Actually we'd moved in first when it's like 50% completed before furniture delivery(That's the DIY paintworks & light fixtures, Water heater installation, laminated flooring & PUB activation done.. just no furniture yet & all personal barang barang in already that time) As long as your place has basic amenities, like hot water, lights. then it should not be a problem to move in. Just prepare your place first for water heater installation if any, PUB activation & some lamps if your place has no light fixtures fixed yet. The rest can be done slowly. That's what we'd did basically. However you got to take note, if you intend to move in early, you got to lock up your barang barang in a room which is already done with no more need for any works to be carried out

Sounds like the bedsheets are best to buy now but I won't be free to go robinson tomorrow also. haiz. Will be too rushed after work somemore

remember to post more pics of your renovation when your renovations start~~~ Wouldn't it be hard to look after 2 dogs on the move btw in the meantime with the issue focusing on your situation?

Hmm it looks like a landed property just like what mafiawife mentioned. However another thought just came to mind.. if its a condo and comes with an attic, it should a penthouse condo based on your link But I must say, the attic is a bonus~~ though the cleaning is a killer.. I already have to maintain my place though its nowhere big as yours and mafiawife's place for sure since only HDB flat.

What greycat says about ovens for roasting, grilling is correct. You don't need to use oven purely for baking though. =) It's quite useful and furthermore convectional ovens which is what you're using I think.. is much more healthier than a microwave oven due to the fact that food will be cooked without any dryness. We can pick up a few pointers on baking & cooking. Neighbour, can I tempt you into the mood for baking with this? Though the transport is another thing, the good thing is Jurong is more developed in recent years than 10 years ago. I believe it will get better in the next few years into the future.

Greycat, can~ I wonder whether Yuki will be turned off the cologne totally or what? You know those cheapo cologne that has this kind of "ah beng, ah lian" smell? This is more of an apt description of the yukky cologne Im using now. Apple. your cats are sooo good & I got to confess that I learnt how to creep behind cats before the cats got alerted to my presence first last time. Now I don't know if I can still do it? Like greycat, I also tried to bring in stray cat / kitten but all attempts thwarted by my parents back then. That was in my kiddo days.

Skywolf: Slipped disc can affect the back structure alot in the long run if not treated properly. Can be quite painful also when one getting older too. Better to have proper medical insurance etc etc and go for a clear checkup when things improve for your hubby just to be on safe side. Your hubby should take good care during rest, no heavy stuff too. Take care leh, you also. Blueberi, Applefreak.. best is to keep documentary proof for this kind of shoddy work in case of dispute. This is what gives any homeowners the run for their money.

Similar sofa beds like yours can fit 2 persons but certainly not so roomy enough for turning & tossing if 2 persons are sharing though. It would be great if got a queen size type when folded down... mine is only the standard size for sofa beds for 2 persons to sleep on

Greycat, can go with LLhome to your place We can even look out the areas near your place too. Put Yuki in the baby pool or buy an inflatable kids rubber pool (small one) and put yuki there kekeke. Ranval : I also curious how summer and oreo will take to each other but i can tell you summer is too hyper even for an old adult. !! For summer's case when it comes to poo & pee thing, we do spank & scold him when he does it incorrectly. However we also spray this yukky smelling cologne at spots where he'd peed on previously which turns summer off completely. The only exception was the kitchen corner at the kitchen entrance. He did it a few times even though I sprayed the cologne there a couple of times. In the end we shift summer's eating place there & its stopped completely. He's sort of paper trained in the sense that he'd will poo & pee on the papers till its time to change the papers. You can try using the papers and see how Yuki & oreo reaction. Applefreak: your cat sure understands you perfectly based on what you say. When i say dog food to summer, it cocks its ears up in a puzzled expression leh.

Greycat, there's direct bus to go sheng siong from Boon Lay interchange but Im not sure from your bus stop at st 65 though? Only bus 199,172, 405 stops outside the former civil defence academy which is now sheng siong. Funny thing is the bus system, u know those flashing word signs inside the bus that says which bus stop its gg to alight at in a few min.. it says civil defence academy when it should be changed to sheng siong, (Can look up the bus directory at the interchange for the list of buses that stops outside your bus stop, gives you an idea of whats the destination route ma) When I want to get home fast, I take the bus 172 since it takes 10 min to reach plus don't need to wait too long for the bus to arrive at the interchange as intervals is at most 5-10 min waiting period. Just need to walk a bit more back to the blocks from the bus stop at sheng siong. But I can't say the same for 181 where it stops directly outside our cluster of blocks there. 'Cos I can literally wait and wait for like what seems the longest waiting period just for 181 alone. !! Agree that the bus system needs more developing~~~ Neighbour, what brand is your oven? Your oven is built in type, good what cos can bake 2 trays of stuff at a go, unlike my portable oven which can only bake 1 tray of stuff. Imagine 1 tray of cupcakes being baked and have to prepare next batch of cupcakes for the next round....

thoa_rs, I got AC5 grade for my whole place except kitchen & balcony. AC3 is at most suited for areas like bedrooms with little or infrequent human traffic flow, making it less susceptible to any major damage in the long run based on my understanding with the sales people at Supreme. So if you intend to get for your office, you need to determine if your office is going to have high human traffic flow or not? AC5 is usually used in commercial spaces for this primary function. I suggest that you should seek the advice of the preferred laminate brand you have in mind so as to gain a better understanding of what you can get for your office area.

Supreme's cheaper than Kronotex actually. I know cos I compared the price & debated on whether to get kronotex or not(Yes, I was really impressed by their solid sales presentation of the kronotex sample then.) End up taking supreme as we'd do not want to pay too much. What we want is adequate coverage & meets basic requirements is already good enough. Kronotex's laminated flooring is more high end based on its performance & quality(Made in Germany) while Supreme's more like those mid end types based on the pricing & the fact that theirs is made in malaysia & china.. Their AC3 is cheaper than AC5 so like what Vowsh & the others say, it depends on series but also the grade too. It does not mean supreme or other brands are inferior as long as they can adequately meet your needs depending on what you really want. Budget? Quality? Warranty?

So fast planning ger ger session, does that mean have to ban the males(the human guys included?) lol gers with female pets ah?
