the pricing is good ah bao. I got my electrician charging me as follow 13amp new single power point socket - 45 13amp new double power point socket - 55 light point - 27 cat 6 - 90 scv - 90 tele - 40 hob power point - 75 20amp new isolator - 120 install ceiling light - 10 install ceiling fan - 40 install heater - 40 install switches - 25 the price varies but the one I engage is a GST company which I find it safer cause I want them to last for year so paying little more to have a peace of mind. Cause my frens etc done their renovation for the BTO and the wire burst due to overloading and have to remove their kitchen cabinet at their own cost to get it replace, just think of the wires burns the wood and get all everything caught fire will be worst right? be safe than to be sorry. His contact was 9711 1149 but please ensure with him the prices as my is a resale and done my whole rewiring for my 5rm for less than 5k -
normally they need to provide warrantries so for touch up they must do finish then u pass them the rest over amount for the renovation. for cleaning wise I doubt all contractor or id able to provide a super clean afterwork as everyone expectation of cleaning is different. so when my renovation finishes I have to do one more time cleaning before I move my furniture back into the house but basic no dirt on grill, no sand on floor, no cement stain is bring up by my contractor personally which impress housemaker like us. as for the touch up like crack tiles etc u need to ask them to change them for you during their touch up session and crack lines, u need them to repatch and provide u a smooth finishing.

the average price should be $3+ for labour to retile and $1.5 for labour to hack the tiles. you need to chip in the material like cement, sand and other building material -

hihi I living near you, my new place is nearby your new build condo along ave 6. was traveling on to work n see the process of the development is quite fast. for new condo normally I think you just need to do up the ceiling and some carpentry like tv console feature or maybe platform bed for storage will do. cheers -

Best if u reinstall new aircon and new wiring if u intend to have worries free stay. Cause the labour to install should be 750-1k if I not wrong might as well change everything one shot if u intend to change the aircon sets if not chemical wash them n reuse till its spoilt n change the whole set with piping makes more sense.

Agrees but every cents worth it's value haha. No harm asking for more quotes but most important is they provide a good job and handover the unit in time which we consumer wants.

Word for consideration, if u intend to get Id not advised as they sub out the jobs, jobs will delay as festival season coming everyone wants a completion for b4 CNY, the estate downstairs contractors is a no no to u as they chop u pieces n pieces. Best u get those with their own workforce so they can manage your time frame well and handover in time. But most important price matters and do compare quote and do background checks before engaging them.

I done my 5rm resale for less than 5k

Currently renovating my 5rm and come to know of that all demolish worker are suppose to be train and have their licence to perform the job. Early this month i and my contractor was in the unit when HDB officer came up to do a random check the premises and its the last day of the renovation hacking permit dated but the job completed early and there were no hacking process on the day itself. Surprisingly the officer asked to check for the worker licence of all hackers in the unit. Kay poh, I went to ask why do the officer have to check all this and i came to understand that all hacking worker should have their licence to perform demolition under HDB rule to train them the correct way and understand the rules to carry out the hacking process. And came to know of It's an offenses to allow unlicence demolition workers to carry out work at your premises even you have an valid renovation permit. And incorrect or deflects done to HDB building are also bare able to flats owner. Luckily my contractor do have his workers train for the process and provided the licence to the officer in charge when his spot checks carry out. So lesson learn is to re ensure by asking your contractor more qns before the real process renovation carry out to clear your worries. My contractor even watsapp me their worker licence for demolition to let me have a peace of mind. Thumbs up for him

I myself fix the kitchen base for acting as a support for my heavy item like plate and pot etc, my last house having suspended kitchen cabinet which is trendy for last time but using wise I dun recommend cause it is not steady when u do chopping or heavy action stuff for cooking.

Dear all, New to this forum as I read the many post regarding renovation to equip myself before my real renovation start. Just collected my keys not long ago on 26sept2015 all now un going renovation. Thanks god that I could get hold of the contractor working on my place now as I searched high and low for a trust worthy ones. Paid deposit for the other company interior film but turn out to be bad as after paying a minimum $500 to secure the deals at expo renovation fair and turn out that hard to reach the designer to finalise all the work to be done. Dates get nearer and worried me to source for another designer or contractor to done up my place as we have to move in on early Nov 2015 as our old flat have to handover to the new owner. This the worst part for new purchase resale flat owner to move in their place in time and handover our old place to the new owner, duration 5week 3days. Currently dated 2week from my key collected. my contractor have completed our retiling for my 2 toilets and 1 kitchen and all floors including living & bedrooms. Yes it surprises us for the speed of work and I guess tomorrow they will be doing the electrical and plumbing for my place. Last and for most the contractors upgraded our homogenous tiles flooring to MARBLE Flooring <~ This really makes the deal sweeter. $10 for the floor retiling per square feet price with material & labour. I am here to share my joy for a thumb up my contractor ! -
I was recently doing my renovation and found a brochure at acacia breeze yishun when I went for my frens house warming by a renovation contractor for bto giving out 20ft kitchen cabinet + top for $3999 and the place I went for house warming is done by them. handicraft good and all equip with soft closing and anti slam drawer and come with dish rack etc. pm me if u need the contact.

Pmed u the contact drag out from my quotation : Hacking of Kitchen $1200 Retiling my Kitchen Floor Area 191.25sqf x $10 = $1912.5 Retiling my Kitchen Wall Area 496sqf x $11 = $5456 Kitchen Bottom Cabinet 25ft x $120 = $3000 Kitchen Komplus top 25ft x 130 = $3250 Electrial works L/Sum $600 for my unit Plumbing reuse existing and alter $150 total : $14368.5 above is estimated that I drag out from my quote but I done my 5rm resale for $45k using them which includes whole unit new flooring 2 new toilet, 3 new bedroom with platform, new living with feature & tv console, 12ft living cabinets, 3 wardrobe. cheers
