  1. The reno guy is the contractor who was supposed to oversee the full project despite me emgaging evorich for the flooring. My fault, which I learnt from the experience was to leave it to the contractor to make arrangements with Evorich. And technically Evorich didn't provide any expert opinion until post installation to let me know that the floor needs time to sit. The only expert opinion I had from Evorich prior to confirming them was that the floor is suitable for vinyl and collect money. So my fault lies in engaging them and leaving it to them. Thanks for pointing out that it is my fault for ignorance towards flooring project and wanted to et the 'expert'.
  2. Hi sorry for the delayed replies, bad experience with reno chap can be rather taxing.. The original floor was terrazzo flooring and the Evoxxxx guy said no problems with it. The skirting was hacked from the wall and the edge of the floor and re cement over to make sure it is even. So the reno chap oversaw the flooring overlay, said the Evoxxxx guys dont check and will start work. Its ridiculous that the edges were floating and sloppy and gives a hollow sound when u knock onto it. But the Evoxxxx guys will tell u it is the job of the owner to make sure the floor is fully prepared for their guys to work on it. As a first time owner and doing overlay for the first time, I would think none will know the problem until u get them? Don't waste money thinking that u will get higher end product at better value. Evoxxxx doesn't deliver.
  3. Hi Dinoxp Sorry to hear about the bad experience. I am personally going through similar case with one company (96°xxxxxxxx) as well. Tons of outstanding matters, dragging over a few months now and flipping accounts of agreement. I have started CASE consultation and likely to elevate to a CASE mitigation. Have even included a police report with the individual designer (Vivien Tan) cos she took deposit for blinds and didn't deliver. Plain bad luck to meet these untrustworthy worthy chaps, will be a long and painful process. Not sure which is better for your case, file with CASE or alternative. U might wish to check with CASE? I was also wondering if anyone out there has contacts to resolve outstanding works if I get to close case and move on?
  4. Just want to correct the claim. Today when I met the operations guy from Evori×× flooring due to poor workmanship. He said the product is water resister only. Not water proof. I feel that they say different things before and after sales. Be mindful of the company
  5. I just installed mine from the same company, believe those lines were part of the design.. but I had very bad experience with this flooring installation. Inconsistent workmanship resulting in bumpy floor with edges sloppy and some silicon not even fully sealed (operations guy - alex said I didn't prepare the floor enough for a flat and even overlay, claim that it will sit in time could be up to 6months). Beware of the company's lousy after sales when full payment is made..
  6. Dormito, U will be glad to hear that I sank in more than $4k on overlaying HERF vinyl and received very badly done job by the same Evoxxxx company. It's a painful lesson learnt. The inconsistent quality of the overlay resulted in bumpy floor, sloppy edges which the company just claim that it was due to the old flooring. I hacked the skirting and re did the edges to prepare for the overlay and they just got the operations guy - Alex to come in and use a lot of technical jargon to try and cover up for the poor workmanship. Had thought I wanted to have more quality after seeing many good reviews... only paid for more frustrations through personal experience.
  7. Just want to share my horrid experience with Evorich vinyl flooring for resale flat, if u are considering them, do drop the idea cos they expect the owner to 'prepare' the floor and when there are uneven flooring they will continue to lay over and claim that owner did not do a good job preparing the best floor condition for them to do the job (did not even allow the contractor to even out as it would cost them 1 man day). Even the sides are not done properly and they will claim that it will sit in a few weeks to 6 months time. Everything ok before sales, after payment, fault belongs to everyone else and the operations guy - Alex will throw all the technical things and refuse to do up poor workmanship. Even silicon are not done properly with small gaps in between.
  8. Wondering if the issue of possible manufacturers defects got resolved in the end? Evorich seemed to have a decent reputation from the forums, but based on personal experience, I haven't seen great customer service as yet. Put a deposit down for overlay of a 3room resale flat, some time later asked for samples to confirm colour with my ID but get bounced around between the sales person and their office. Subsequently tried to confirm the job and sales person not very responsive... praying hard that the job will be done and complete with minimum issues.
