    Hi, I like your squarish 4A Room flat and think that the new master bedroom is perfect except that it is a pity to see one whole side of the original master bedroom window covered by the new wardrobe and will never see light again. Since the original storeroom will be removed, I would suggest to build more storage cabinets in the new dining room area. By the way, what is the floor area of your 4A flat?

    Hi Hanna, Your whole flat has many recess areas under the windows. Do you plan to do built in storage cupboards for these areas? These recess areas are deep enough for suitcases.

    If you don't want to use the mopping function, just remove the water tank. Usually, I shall just do floor vacuuming first without mopping. After that, I attach the water tank and the robot will vacuum and mop the floor.

    Hi Clarence, Did you buy your Xiaomi Robot recently? Because my Xiaomi robot is the second generation one that comes with a water tank and mopping function. This 2-in-1 vacuum and mopping robot has very good performance.

    Hi Clarence, Your newly renovated house looks really cozy now! Good effort! I noticed that your bath gel bottles and shampoo bottles lie flat on the shelf under the sink. Is your shelf too short? Where do you keep your Xiaomi Cleaning Robot base? I place mine under the sofa in living room. Also I notice you got a queen mattress. Did you change your mind for not having a king mattress?

    I understand that there is no wind directly from exhale fan. Instead you will feel the breeze everywhere in the room.

    Hi, I over bought this sleek looking Italian made Flux chairs for my apartment and am willing to let 3 of them go at SGD250 each. Flux chair is made of polypropylene and can be folded flat for transport and holds 160kg of weight when transformed into a chair. These are brand new Flux chairs in orange and are still wrapped in their original plastic bag. Please ping me if you are interested.

    The exhale fan looks cool. Is it better than a normal ceiling fan in terms of air flow and energy saving?

    I think your proposed WIW will make your master bed very cramp with no space for 2 side tables. It is like sleeping in a confined box. My idea is that your wife can have the entire "L" shaped WIW for her own use and you will take the smaller wardrobe at your proposed master wash basin area. The wash basin will return to the bathroom. Just a suggestion.

    Believe me, the one at the top of balcony sliding door is not a structural beam because I have removed it in my flat as well. Don't do the fake green wall. The real green wall worth the investment and will bring fresh air and scent to your home! Instead of the proposed wash basin outside of the master bathroom, why don't use the space for addition wardrobe? So keep the wash basin inside the bathroom.

    I am sorry to hear your quality issues. It seems to me your carpenter was trying to rush through your job and forgot to patch up any mistake that they made.

    @yokechye Your proposed design is very nice and really functional. I have the following suggestions for your consideration: 1. The new study room is good and I think it also needs a ceiling fan. 2. Proposed to remove the overhead beam at the original balcony and incorporate the balcony into the living/dining room. This is because your balcony is too narrow. 3. Proposed not to have the small storeroom in the living/dining room. Instead install a vertical green wall at the side of the new wall in the living/dining room separating the new study room. Do take note to provide water supply and drainage for the vertical green wall. 4. Your proposed WIW in the master bedroom should be changed to a L-shaped one so that you will have more space to put a side table at each side of the King bed. 5. Perhaps you can combine your vanity and dressing table together.

    @Clarence Lye It is approximately SGD520 including shipping. It is considered the best cleaning robot from China and is definitely cheaper than iRobot. @Bumblebee17It can clean within 1cm from the edge and around the corner. It is also laser guided and its performance is really impressive. For my flat of about 129sqm, the robot takes about 90 minutes to clean the whole apartment. In the past few years, Xiaomi has come out a whole list of impressive products. It is definitely a good buy considering its cost and performance.

    Recently I bought this Xiaomi Roborock cleaning robot from Taobao. This is a second generation cleaning robot that comes a water tank attached at the bottom of the robot. It vacuums first and immediately mops the floor. Its performance is excellent! I can even control it with an app when I am overseas.

    I think your kitchen counter top is too cluttered. Do you have any storage space in the bottom cabinet to store your kitchen knives, chopping boards and frying pans?

    How much did you pay for the Eubiq power tracks? Do you have it in every room? I find it overpriced and quite expensive. Is it really necessary to install Eubiq power track? How do you intend to use it?

    Like the LED lights in your kitchen. Is the gap at the bottom kitchen cabinets big enough to put a iRobot? Do you plan to use the Philips Hue Lights which can provide brilliant display of colours?

    Hi, I am sorry to know about your ordeal. But you should have contacted the landlord in the first place since you are just the tenant. You can file your case at the Consumer Association of Singapore and Small Claim Court to seek for a refund.

    Clarence, For your king sized mattress, I'd suggest to purchase two single mattresses instead. It is much easier to access the storage spaces under the platform with a single mattress as compared to a king mattress. I guess there is no space for side tables. But it is still important to provide a place where you can put your alarm clock, phone, glass of water, etc. Are you going to use the headboard for this purpose?
