It ends up as a heng-sway situation as the damages will be paid by the hse-owner no matter what.

Hi Missysg, i'm still shortlisting the contractors... but i whd seriously consider your offer. But was wondering since you are already looking for lights now, and if you purchase more in future (perhaps 1-2 mths from now), do you think if your friend will be able to give the % to you too? Oh wow... how abt shipping costs then? If the lights can fit into the lugguge, it's ok i suppose. But if its those pretty bulky ones, wouldnt you need to spend on shipping?

Applefreak, Was reading yr blog and noticed tt you are using Eubiq also! My hb likes it and was thinking to affix it too. Any feedback abt it since i gathered you had used it for abt 1 yr+? The sales staff told me it's not a new product and had been in SG for abt 2 yrs; but i nv noticed it when i walked by those self-fix or simi-fix shops. Oh i see... paiseh, me blur sotong here... Themes ah... we didnt have a fixed theme lor. So far we had decided we are looking at island kitchen, platform bed in MBR , platform @ top part of living rm there + ex-balcony (oh yah, the balcony had been hacked and levelled, leaving the stupid beam on top), and a bar counter @ opp side of the living rm - windows facing corridor there - right side corner. Yah. Before we went hse hunting, was thinking of a country style hm. Ended up with a marble flooring so idea out. Thus, kitchen island is the next alternative. I dun think i wanna hack the storerm as we may have use for it in the future... had decided w hubby that we'll will not be moving unless in bo bian circumstances. And the 2 of us have lots of stuff, so storerm we need lor. Saw in yr drawing tt the fridge is next to the windows. Is it wise as there is afternoon sun along that stretch? Was afraid of the fridge being over-worked. In the kitchen there'll be the retractable clothes hanging thingy - i dun dare to bring wet clothes to sun outside. Some info that may help... The current owner has a row of cabinets opp the storerm. With that row of cabinet, the storerm door can still be opened out in full. When closed, it's enuff for 1 person to walk thru. Maybe I shd get some cats. Let them do cat-walk there. Bo ideas leh, mr phantom. My teacher gave up on me when he taught creativity n innovation in poly. Mirrors-wise, we are not tt keen lor. Scared we scared ourselves when walking thru at night. Or are we scary birds then...

Guys... Bo bianz but to bump the tread up... I need some ideas on what to do with the long walkway leading to the kitchen. Really have no idea what to do with it and splashing a coat of paint on it seems wasted.... Had spoken to some IDs though, but other than the cornice stretching frm walkway till the outline of the living/dining area, none others have any idea. Hw how...?

Hihi, Not sure if anyone is still active in this tread... i'm thinking of getting clear glass (a mixture of frosted after gg thru this tread) so that no one can claim insurance from me. Do you all check with the contractor whom you chaps had engaged for hse reno or was it from a 3rd party? I'm not sure if contractors can just do after an explanation on hw I want it to be - we rather like the 1 fixed panel + 1 movable for the study rm (will be hacking part of the study rm wall down to accomodate the 'glass' effect)... Anyone?
