hahah thats why i am getting the dryer to make things easier..ultimately still have to iron, cannot siam...

liked your corner TV console we cant have red, black, green and yellow in the whole house..therefore most of items are either cream white or walnut colour.. no pure white as i dun like white..sumore got 2 dogs, difficult to maintain.. wish i could draw but my drawing CMI, can only leave to ID.. wall paper is a good idea too but i think most likely i am going for wall decal =P

Updates 29 May 2008 went up today and part of living room flooring done (only those that are near to the supposed to hack walls NOT done) maybe ID doesnt want to waste time to wait for the permit so do part by part door frames change and metal gate removed.. doing gouting for kitchen and toilets too ..hopefully everything else proceed smoothly my so called "back splash" dark chocolate tiles direction is horizontal.. kitchen wall tiles, direction is vertical ID said is a form of design...hahahah duno got bluff me or not MBR toilet tiles common toilet different design but same tiles..didnt managed to take pics as workers still working on it everytime i go over..

no choice leh, you think i like meh?? haiz

forget to update you on the accessories shop brought whole house items liao eg toilet bowls, basin, sink, tap, rainshower, storage heater etc etc.. very helpful and friendly lady served us and the prices wise, comparable..didnt get the hood & hob from them initially as didnt see the 1 i like (cos display items not much also) went around IMM and saw the ideal and not so expensive 1..salesman quoted me a price..but didnt buy, called up the accessories shop next day and ask if they can give me a cheaper price..after much bargaining, they matched the price so in the end got from the same shop..lolx you can ask roy to bring you there lor

i mean i will still iron la..just wanted something to make the ironing easier...getting a maid is the MOST easy wan liao lor...

hmm thanks for all the replies now i understand better think happy is open concept just like apple.. but my new house will have cabinets and i think is without the support..maybe i should ask my ID eh ask you something about dryer can?? those with creaseguard/iron aid does it really matters? i am not looking into heavy duty dryer as just me n husband clothing.. i just wanna make my ironing job easy..realised that the electrolux model that we just brought does not have that function.. if it really matters, i may consider to change to another model and of course cost $100 more =( can someone advice me? thanks in advance =)

thanks bunbun, apple jie and wolfy for replies..think i roughly know liao..but i tot nowadays all conceal wan hor..think i go and take pictures tonight and see if you all meant the same thing..mine is concealed behind cabinets...oh the wood will rot meh another thing to clarify is you mean we can do another concrete support under sink? my current house dun have leh..the new house ID also never tell me need to do support leh... i can imagine how heavy a sink is..this time i am getting granite sink, so better to do sink support??

is yours the $398 stainless steel hanger? think we got the same light but mine is for 2 toilets..kitchen using those hamburgers lookalike but bigger ones..

lightings i went myself lah he only brought us to the shop that sells toilet and kitchen accessories..got the hood & hob from the shop too.. collected keys already? started reno??

thanks so far i have been to 168 / chelsea / pantech..surprisely 168 is lowest price among the 3 shops.. pantech selection not much, didnt see wat we wanted chelsea quote around $1300 for whole house lightings but selection much more lah 168 quoted around $1200 maybe i should nego more with 168?

Updates 27 May 2008 walls are up but supposed to hack walls are still there tiling of kitchen & toilet wall tiles also begun but didnt take any pictures as forgotten to bring camera...will try to post some pictures later..workmanship not too bad btw, went to shop for lightings last week but haven confirm anything yet as want to see more designs..any comments on the following? kitchen and WIW light. just very simple looking hamburger lookalike =P $60 dining light..is it too simple?? $220 study room light..like the wooden accent cost about $180
