    Thanks for clarifying. Doesn't it make the space of the bathroom smaller though since they have to build concrete bricks around and leave a small recessed area?

    How did you find the quality of the cement screeding? I usually hear the one provided by HDB is very uneven.. Also if its a new BTO How come need to do hacking then screeding for vinyl? Did you have to pay any $$ for the cement screeding? One of my friends had to pat $400 to the contractor from HDB.. wondering if she kena cheated.

    Hi Guys, I was wondering if we are allowed to have platform beds with storage in the bedroom. I contacted some contractors and they said its possible, whilst others said that HDB doesn't allow platform bed with storage, only a raised platform bed. I was planning on getting a platform bed to allow for more storage space for a small house. Also, does anyone have any quotations on what the average charges are? So far i've been quoted $25-35 psf. Please do share pics also if you have one in your home!
