  1. no secret for money issue between me and hubby..so we dun need to worry for each other... for eg. wan to buy a big LCD super hi-tech TV for the house.. he may says ok, on the surface, but u never know if financially he is tight...or he has other committment e.g. high insurance premium..Cant jus pretend that he says ok means ok mah....worst he end up borrowing from banks for that....might hurt the marriage.... if you really know his REAL financial situation, then easier when suggesting travel trips..or big purchases...
  2. i have painted my house twice...painting the ceiling is most tiring...neck almost break... now i prefer professional painters cos the painting direction and strength applies and pattern would be consistent.
  3. there is only 1 undergarment pail in the toilet...all dump in..no separate.. there is only 1 washer..that is the washing machine...all dump in to wash together, no separate. anyone disagree..can DIY..buy own pail and own machine...hehe my hubby and I dun have the practise of His or Hers... flower123; next time when u hang undergarments, you hang in this pattern, HIS HERS HIS HERS HIS HERS...see how he take out HIS...hehe...or simply..wear his undergarment..haha....

  18. ya...frankly i would have gotten cheaper if i spend more time scouting..asking...bargaining..walking off...and back...and scounting...but this would be spending more time, cab fare..and headache and bad mood. so if we are ok with the price (not knowing where else has similar at cheaper price) and like the items, we buy it...and move on with other items in the house. and dun go round other shops anymore there are so much to buy..glad to move on to the next on the list. enjoy the process.

  22. recently made purchase at Elite Illumination at jln besar. A particular lights caught our attention and it is by far, one of the better design and price. we been thru balestier twice and could not find any suitable one. We are not sure whether the price is BEST price, at least we feel good about buying the lights at that price after scouting and asking prices. Service is good and patient. Goods not yet delivered, so i will further comment again after that. After buying, we have one mission completed and strike off the list-to-do. we can move on to other stuff. I dun think i wan to ask geylang or walk more of jln besar...
  23. i visit silestone office at changi south today. Price starts from $150, $170, $190 and $220+ per feet depending on colors. There is only two choices for $150 and plenty for $170 and above. They charge $80 per cut for each stove and basin and $25+ for tap hole. price incl a small backsplash and excl GST. thinking of using a red color (eros steller) with glitter mirror embedded...as counter top.having not seen red counter top so far in t-blog, not sure if it is wise choice. still researching. LG also doing quartz surface but not sure available here or not. Will be visiting ceasarstone office soon...as soon as i find where it is..haha
  24. i cant find the website for the design company...anyone can advise?
