I will be renovating my newly acquired place and will update here the progress for people to see. floor plan renovating items 1) living room - feature wall, cabinets, ceiling 2) balcony - shoe cabinet, cover up garden with cement 3) study room - study table, cabinet 4) children room - bed, cabinet, bay window 5) master bedroom - feature wall, tv console, ceiling, bay window 6) toilet cabinet and sink 3D designs from the ID kids room living room toilet sorry i don't want to upload bigger pics as scare pple steal...keke... a brief history...this is my 3rd time moving house. from 5 rm upgraded to 3 bdrm condo then now to another bigger 3 bdrm condo... my last condo did very lil reno around 7K only, so this time invested more for a more cosy home....

i have engaged them after going to 3 ID firms. not the cheapest but the person attended to me was very attentive to our needs and provides good recommendations. the quote was only given after we have roughly finalized our requirements. as the quote was quoted on what we actually wanted. so no additional of cost at later stage. will provide pics of workmanship after completion

anyone here encounter difficult buyerss/sellers before? for me 1st time i encounter stingy sellers. after some bargaining, confirmed the price and signed liao. then they like intend to back out like tat say agent sold for them at lower price, say after signing got people offer slightly higher. wah lau do they understand what is sign on dotted line? initially ask whether they are removing any items in the place before my purchase as they initially wanted to rent it out. 1) curtains are in all the rooms. (i dun wan the ugly curtains) 2) a fridge in the kitchen (they confirmed via phone that fridge give me) 3) lights all installed 1st unhappiness requested for 3 weeks instead of the normal 2 weeks after signing OTP due to bank bridging. seller unhappy ask why so long, explained to them still not satisfied. grumble grumble 2nd unhappiness normally otp form will just write empty possessions in the place. then seller suddenly say they taking back the fridge. nvm loh not say i "gian" their new fridge. then started to remove the lights also. wah lau wanna sell then sell happy lah..not say they sell at a lost. 3rd unhappiness requested for early shift in for renovation works as i have sold my current place already. since they not staying there, they insisted give me only 1 mth allowance for reno works. in turn i must pay them rental. ok lo pay them. agree to handover keys to me on scheduled date, play punk give me 1 set of keys instead of 2 smore late in the night instead of morning.then my cheque must be handed over first before they pass key to agent. CCB. bery du lan liao and they say will keep the other set as they havent finish moving items outta the house. 1 house got so many sets of keys. even dare asked me for $30 gas activation charges and they after that say dun need. i already ask SP services to activate on handover key date, i also paying for my own SP services. 4th unhappiness heard from their agent they still plan to enter the house before comepletion date. what if i am not at home and things go missing or damage? (meaning i am staying in the house for probably 2-3 days before completion date). i know they are still officially the owner but WTF. i am just here to air my grievances as first time encounter such behaviour from seller.

the adt security system is just to sound off alarm when intrusion detected right? thinking of installing it to prevent previous owner of unauthorized access otherwise must change all my sets of keys.

there is 1 shop i chanced upon on sunday at Kaki Bukit Rd 1. Fusion Interiors. They used real burmese teak so their furniture little on the high side..was looking for 4 poster bed n they do have it although not on display..around 2.8K..i am looking for cheaper version so not buying from them..the boss was kind enuff to enlighten me about the other types of wood tat i saw..is mahogany..not solid teak as indon has banned export of teak..me green in this...anyway as long as the bed dun break can liao..haha.. he also gave me some scented joss sticks to bring home n burn...nice guy..

i went to a few contractors last week... went to Chew Interior last thur...my budget is only 10K and the guy doesn't seem very interested to do my deal..i got a feeling la...then say next day will email me the quote but till now no quote yet...ask him for a estimate, he say around 12K..so only my budget by a bit... i also went to Baroque, spoke to Andy...nice guy to talk to but still waiting for his quote too..i know mine is a small proj...typically i wanna save money by doing just a feature wall w/tv console, mirror at dining and feature wall at master bed room...so 10K shld be enuff including electrical works n painting whole house.. i went to another 1 which is Cozy View..small contractor...told him cousin recommended and he same day gimme quote liao...want to get slightly cheaper price...tink i must give him my design then betta..otherwise he say he ask his designer draw...
