Hi everyone, Has anyone used this similar LED downlights before? It is recommended by my contractor and it is made from China. I ask about the brightness and the "lum" and it was not specified. I am very confused if 9w is sufficient or 12W. My contractor suggested 12w at a spacing of 1.5m apart. However, I find for 12W, the size of the downlight is almost 15cm wide which looks huge on my small ceiling. Any kind soul who has tried installing similar LED downlights from China, can share with me on the brightness and also the spacing between the lights? Thanks!

Selling two glass tables originally purchased from V-Hive. The tables measure 120 cm (L) by 75 cm (W) by 75 cm (H), and can be used as a dining table or study table. Tables are in decent condition - there are some minor scratches on the glass, but these are not deep scratches and not visibly noticeable unless you look closely. Hi, Any expert around can comment if this is safe? My ID installed a fixed panel sitting on top of quartz top, doesn't look like the u channels are securing the glass.

Anyone here knows what the estimate for replacing a leaky tap? The screw securing the tap is all stripped. Also who know were to get the plastic gaskets/liners edging glass panels used in showers? No luck finding them so far. Thanks. Kenneth

Hi all, i just bought a resale flat at admiralty and just finished my renovations. There was this very good glass and auminium contractor that i'll like to share. I did glass doors for my bedrooms, shower screen for both my toilets and aluminium windows and grills and was very satisfied with the service and workmanship. I went to various interior designers and their prices really give me a shock. some even worst, did not even bother to get back to me at all. I managed to get this glass contractor's contacts from my friend and she's really good. You can always call her up and ask for rough quotes first. She's much better than all those other companies when i called. Some company they'll give me the 'i'm dying' tone , and talk as if i owe them a few thousands dollars. Seriously cannot tahan those people. So if anyone is interested to do shower screen, glass door or aluminium windows, can PM me and i'll pass you her contact.

Hi all, I am doing up a renovation of the bathroom (both master and common toilets) in my newly acquired 5 rm HDB. I am on the 6th floor. Got quoted this amount for glass doors & glass shower screen ... 1. Supply & install 01 10mm frameless tempered opaque glass swing door c/w circle handle and lock set at common toilet - SGD$850 (excluding an additional SGD$200 per piece to carry from ground unit) 2. Supply & install 02mm Frameless tempered glass with fix panel at common toilet - SGD$280 (excluding an additional SGD$200 to carry from ground unit) - is this considered expensive?

I'm looking for this light and anyone know where I can get it cheap/value? Not overpriced, mid range will do but most importantly need good sales service to install the lights. I want it in this colour. Also, I'm concern about the light bulb as the existing one is tungsten and is very warm. I heard LED one is coming out and it's a brighter shade of warm white. Anyone know where i can buy from? Overseas or local? The bulk measures about 11cm long and around 2-3cm in diameter. Te key thing is we need a clear bulb for it to look nice and preferable in LED. The shop I went to is currently out of stock and i need to wait for 2 months so I don't ind getting it from elsewhere. Thanks!!

About a month ago, I was cooking some instant noodles on my fujioh glass stove....i turned for a moment and heard a loud breaking sound. When i turned back, i was shocked to see that my hob had completely shattered! About 10 pieces of glass flew out, the rest remained intack. (I was told this was a protective feature of the tampered glass). I immediately called Fujioh and they explained that while it may appear shocking, such occurences are common...and that it happens with other brands as well. They offered to replace the glass free of charge (i.e. there was a lifetime warranty on the glass) - the repairman who later came to my place candidly said that they would replace the hob every time it shatters. Not wanting to take any chances (esp as I have kids in the house), I requested for a stainless steel version - which I still had to pay for (i.e. i was assured it was a very special price). It took another 2 weeks before my new hob was installed (apparently it was a popular model and was out of stock). Its been 2 weeks since they've installed my stainless steel hob....and now, its Warped! the stainless steel does not sit evenly on the kitchen table! There's a 1cm gap! I've just called Fujioh again demanding for an explanation. I am still waiting for their reply. When will this fujioh nightmare end? PS : To put things into perspective, my family cooks everyday and we've had the fujioh hob for about 13 months.
