hi big orange, i think the schedule for taking keys should be according to when the block is completed rite? regardless whether you are from sers or BE group. those from 220a which is first to complete should be already gotten keys ba?

so those unpainted block, i predicted should be july/aug lo after china construction handed to hdb and hdb did a check on the flats.

so far i had contact with U home director, he is a friendly guy, willing to explain to you most of the stuffs but yet to be very convinced about the works, and heard some not so good feedback about the company from the forum now...so still pondering.

also contact with coos design,so far saw quite positive works from them with reno for flats in sengkang.

and also considering ideal home which is recommend by some members here...

so these are the 3 ID which i am considering at the moment....

it should be in each blk there will consist of pple from SERS and BE cases. SERS select the flats first. after which the remaining are put up for BE. you will notice most of the BE are not so high floor.

some SERS & BE will get their Key first as the Flat is completed. eg. 220A, some SERS may had already finish Reno. in fact my neighbour alrady living there.

To Everyone: Anyone knows ... once we get the keys, will HDB impose a certain period of time which we will have to start renovating? Or can we leave it vacant until we're comfortable with starting?

Hi Cacky

From: HDB Renovation guide FAQ

Q6.How much time am I given to complete my renovation work? How

soon would I need to commence the renovation works in my new flat

and the frequency of the renovations allowed in a flat?

For new blocks, you must complete the approved renovation works within four months from

the date of the renovation permit. For established blocks, the approved work must be

completed within one month from the date of the renovation permit. This is to minimise any

inconvenience and noise nuisance to the existing residents.

There is no restriction on when the renovation works should be carried out by the flat owners

and/or the frequency of the renovation. This is to facilitate flat owners in the planning of the

renovation in their flats, in terms of their financial resources and time schedule.

Q11. I can't complete the renovation works within the time allowed?

What should I do?

Your registered renovation contractor can submit the request for extension of the

renovation period via the “Application For Renovation Permit via Electronic Transaction”

system (APEX) through the HDB InfoWEB at www.hdb.gov.sg under “E-Services

>Housing Admin E-Services (HAES)>Submit an e-Application>Renovation Permit”.

HDB Branch Office will accede to the request if the reasons given are justifiable.
