Haha, somebody posted a pic of your final drawing on the wall. So cute, and a good way to remind the workers, so that they won't do anything wrongly. :P

Hi Pinklady,

Your black colour laminate got flowery pattern?

Hi ponytail, sorry for the late reply. yes, my black colour laminate got the exact same flowery pattern as shown on your samples. it looks very nice, but then now my only complaint is that, when i boil water, the steam all comes up right? after the prolonged steam for a mth, i find that the flowery part a little bit dusty and whitish. dunno why leh? oh yeah, rgd the q, i cannot remember how much i did my cabinet, rough estimate its around $2k plus plus plus.

same as u, i wanted to keep my kitchen flooring n just hack the bases. But one contractor pointed out that the water proofing is gone, and even if u were to waterproof the base, it doesnt form a complete seal with the original layer. Meaning to say, when u wash floor it will seep thru the join lines n possibility of leaking to ur downstrs neighbr is higher. Not an issue if u just do mopping.

I'm not too sure how true it is but it sounds logical. So do take note when u feel like wet scrubbing ur kitchen floor!

Find that your renovation pose a lot of challenge to your contractor.

This hack, that one keep, this one alter abit, that one shift a bit.

Were you rejected by a lot of contractors?

Hi Lubbi & Rondy,

Like lizard are? Your comment make me largi want to change colour. ;)

When yesterday I saw the 3d drawing, my heart sank. :(

My contractor ever told us before that we can have a maximum of 3 drawings. Now I've already used up all. :bangwall:

Hi Angel,

The drawing is put up by my contractor but I shift it to the hall, scared wait the worker damage it. :D

Hi Pinklady,

You mean the black laminate got white patches? :dunno:

Hi mrspiglet,

Thanks, will take note of that.:)

Hi intel,

I've only engage one contractor only, don't quite understand what you meant, can be more specific? :dunno:
