Just to update on my situation, turn out that he is not lying, the tiles were indeed finished up, except for some skirting. Not to side him or something but just feel that credits should be given when its due.

after all this airplane, broken promises....suddenly quiten down...

anything to comment on this issue

I'm not against anybody, I just find it unbelievable how people can take all the sh*t from this "superstar" Ah Soon.

If it is not for this forum, I believe he will be out of business long ago. ;)

Break & Stop this "Herd instinct"

After reading this thread, I think I'll give Ah Soon a miss.

I ready need to  you people. Spend money, yet need to  him to do his job.

Herd instinct?

No matter how good this Ah Soon is, flying airplane on customer, empty promises, 4 month reno is unacceptable. 8|

Why spend money and yet need to chase after him to complete his jobs?

I feel that, You guys here should ban him to let him know he is not the only contractor around.

tiling half completed. Not enough tiles. Left at that state for quite some time.

Glad to know that you are entering the HO stage. Congrats. :good:

I've noticed that my renovation permit that Uncle has applied for me has already passed. Is this normal? Will he usually go and apply for another or is he going to carry out the renovation work "secretly"?

Ah Soon too many clients and too busy. If you don't mind the 2nd best person to find as contractor listed in the forum is MR BK 91083038

, slightly more expensive but provide good advise and quality services . He specialise in PTE property and can give idea of how the rich people do their condo or landed property to suit your HDB style.

sigh by a certain Late stage, houseOwners usually dun hav $$$ to sue or do anyth else!!!

If your time is money then you have to look for more expensive contractor who pay OT to workers and premiums to suppliers to jump queue. After 1 month of discussion with Ah Soon I decided to pay for more for time delivery. According to my contractor, now it is the peak time and doing reno now will cost you 20% more. Alot of workers are all taken up and even my contractor said his jobs queue until next year and he rejected all new business honestly.

Ah Soon spent slot of time to take down the details but the main problem is he cannot write english and he is poorly educated. His delivery also depend on other sub-con and many complaints of delay when these sub-con bought over and sabo by other contractor. If you have a place to live and time to wait, Ah Soon is the cheapest and most honest contractor in Singapore. I will vote for him as no.1
