Looking for good contractors? Click here for your request

I'm using Sf-80kj, there's kong kong noise. Whitefantasy is using SF-90KJS, she also reported that there's kong kong noise.

My 8kg washer is too small for my comforter alone without other stuff. My bedsheet is those tuck-in at the mattress's corners type. I can dump 1 bedsheet, 4 pillow cases, 1 bolster case together at the same time into 1 wash. Regarding curtains, it depends on how big and thick are your curtains' materials, thus I can't answer u on the curtain part. :P

another question, what's the speed of washing machine ie. RPM u all using?

& if spin at faster rate, more noisy? I was reading this interesting article that say e ideal RPm should

be ard 1200 :yamseng:

washing machine speed

washing machine speed 2

hitachi washer sucks. Seriously, I bought one 7kg washer 3 years back and I am changing to a new samsung one. I don't really fancy the hitachi.

you can select different rmp800, 600 or 400 for delicate items is rpm400. The default setting is rmp800 so you will hv to adjust accordingly if you require different speed.

I washed my bed linens using Delicate Program but they were still damaged leh. My office clothes were fine after the wash though. My machine doesn't have different RPM settings for me to choose.

True. Newer technology by right should be better and quieter! I guess that Best Denki salesperson, who served you, has never use the Hitachi washer herself before, so she doesn't know about the noise issue. :(

I can't hear the washer's noise in my bedrooms if I shut the bedroom door because my bedrooms are at one end of my rectangular living room and my kitchen is at the other end of my living room.

It's good that you warned forummers about Hitachi washer's noise issue. None of the salesmen highlighted it to me.

Till now i still cannot tahan this noisy washing machine..... sometimes the whole machine can shake & dance and create very loud noise & i thought it is going to explode..... lolz.

Not sure if can complain to Hitachi on that or not on their so-called latest technology?

Actually i wanted to buy a panasonic brand but the saleslady told me Hitachi "lao zi hao" and it is good & reliable.

The only good thing about this machine is the tub is big & even though i throw in queen size comforter there is still a lot of rooms.

wow! i think i go megastore at novena tomorrow!

best is selling at $499!!

I just bought Hitachi W/M SF80 from Everjoint at AMK for $433

I'd wanted to buy LG's WFT7000 from Gain City at $299, but the salespersons at Everjoint said that

Korean products not as good as Japanese products, thus they recommended Toshiba or Hitachi.

Actually I've been using LG's w/machine for years and it's so easy to use.

Now I read all these negative reports 'bt Hitachi's only after buying it .... :(

I brought SF85 @ $530.

personally, I ok with that kong kong sound and my husband was surprise

1. had music when end

2. it measure and tell u how much powder to put.

But I had a question to all user.

For the softener,

I put in softener same time when I put in the powder.

I always find the softener inlet is fill with water after the wash.

Is it mean to be?

Yes the end music is special but before that the tub will spin first with the kong kong sound..... lolz

You will need to dilute with water first if your softener is those thick cream type else it will be fill with water after the wash & sometimes there are still some softener inside the container.

If u using Downy softener then don't need add water prior to that as it is quite liquid type.

Well i really regretted not sticking back to the same brand National now is Panasonic washer instead. :(
