hmmm its strange u were quoted so high.

most of us got cns due to the cheap price, $250 per gate, typical 3 feet by 7 feet pricing. The hollow version is even cheaper at $188.

well i guess at this point in time u can just touch up using the rust converter from homely, alternatively, there is a kind of direct to rust paint (3 in 1 paint) which is available at homefix.

maybe tt's why urs cost $650? customisation?

just curious, cos as i've said before, if and when i do get a wrought iron gate, or anything tt's wrought iron, i definitely wun get frm CNS.

cos my unit is not the typical HDB.

I heard about some bad experience with CNS too from my friend.

I saw them almost advertised on the papers daily

Recently got my BTO, start looking online for renovation idea and chance upon this thread which amused me because my mother in law just warned me about this company.

She also experience the exactly same problem, gate started to rust within weeks, need to pay $35 for transport to get lousy attitude worker to re-paint. The boss even says the warranty does not cover rust where his receipt write clear rust and corrosion is covered for 10 years. He even blame the sea because she stays Punggol.

What make it worse is her experience is in 2005, which means this company is using the same tactic for so many years! Wonder still have any victims or not recent year.

Hope no more home owner fall under this trick.

Anyone has experience with CNS recently?

I am looking for customised iron gate. Visited Ho Ho and CNS office, but saw bad reviews on forums.

Posting on CNS was quite old, anyone has recent experience?
