Why have to sell now? Yr flat will only be ready on year 2013. You can actually sell within 6 months from the date you receive the keys to your completed BTO unit. Maybe you listen wrongly from the HDB officer. Edited March 6, 2011 by davidbslee
forgotten 1 Report post Posted March 6, 2011 (edited) Davidbslee is right. You can sell your current house after you get the keys to BTO. Now you are pregnant leh. Moving house etc will be a big hassle to you! Pack, Move, Spring Clean, Unpack, etc. Edited March 7, 2011 by forgotten

Hi Elaine, nobody will know what will happen to market 3 years later but what I know is you are pregnant now, selling and moving is not so good for you too. By then, your child already going to 3 years old and will be easy then and sharing with other family is not going to be easy when you are having your confinement period. And during this 3 years, proper care for your child is very important as they always keep falling sick which I exprience before. Who knows the market will go up and up 3 years later. You can choose for a renovation loan if really no choice just like me. Edited March 9, 2011 by davidbslee
