i do agree with you in term of buying property for investment, location is the most important factor. but, if you buy to stay, then location is just one of the factor. don't you agree? do other forumers agree?

For investment, no need to explain more. Location fetch the call. Easy to rent. Easy to sell

For own stay, location also as important but depend on individual need, family need.

Down the line is.. what you want your home to be.

1. Need to near to parent house

2. Need to near centre

3. Need to be walking distance to kid school

4. Need to be walking distance to MRT b'coz don't drive.

Etc

The more "need" requirement it meet, COV increase too.

This line is more than just common sense.

Human are needs-drive. Different ppls have different needs, no such thing as "lousy locations". A man of sound mind would not have raised challenge to "swop" "similar" houses in different locations without considerations.
