i change my house lights into LED lights recently and all brighten up.

Using older technology lights, will dim after a while, which is a hassle changing it.

wait ..is this a fenghui topic or a renovation topic ? :-)

A good ID will be able to help you - just get the right person to do the job for you. Haha

Dark environment usually associates with damp, stuffy air, deadly feeling.....100% fs related topic. Seem no one, thus far, "catch" your concern....

General tips:

- Paint white/light color

- Make more windows with transparent glass with curtain control/large doors, avoid dark color frame....

- Large wall mirror at strategic location.

- Study wind flow pattern(pressure difference)between aisle/windows/doors. Avoid short circulation of airflow, make large/long passage for air to flow between....deep subject, can't cover here.

- Ceiling fans of "long" diamenter, ie 60 inch, at different places.

- Only white light, no yellow light to refect "true color" of objects within house.

If possible:

- Sell and move.

Bepgof,

Why sell? My fsm only advised additional lights for dark areas. For myself, I have already decided mostly white for my house even before the fs audit so I think it should be ok.

As what kcwee suggests: hair stand too late....already standing behind you. Usually not within one's reach to "modify" the outer atmosphere, therefore only sell..... Hope, I'm not too conclusive as i've not been to actual site.

Personally came across 2 instances of houses too dim, weir structures and stuffy air during viewing. Walked away immediately...
