Got up at 6am and had "Open Door" ceremony before 7am. Took this chance to take pre-reno pics. Contractor and his workers came at 8.30am, gone through what are the things need to do for the next few days.

Went up to new place at 1pm, guess what ? The hacking was 70% done! Only took 1 pic of the hacked Living. According to Contractor, they are going to remove the debris tomorrow! Progress is satisfying :sport-smiley-004:

Hi MamaO,

Indeed they are very fast. Just went up to inspect the progress this morning, hacking was 100% done as promised by the Contractor. Kudos to the workers, hacking only took 1 day to complete.

The workers started work at 9am sharp, within an hour, they have cleared the debris in Living and study room, and transporting the sands up to the unit.

Common Toilet - wall / feature wall / floor

Received call from Contractor, minor hiccup from LSH that they forgot to reserve the floor tiles for Common Toilet, it is now out of stock! How can this happen ? :furious:

Was told to choose either a slightly darker or lighter tone, now waiting for ID's reply on the tiles colour :dunno:

Went to JB on last Friday to collect the lightings for Foyer, Dining and MBR.

We use track light for Foyer, cost RM263, sorry that I forgot to take the picture of it.

For Dining - 7 legged octopus, cost RM400 (equivalent to SGD161, based on exchange rate 2.48), so much cheaper than in Singapore !

For MBR - cannot afford crystal lighting as it's too expensive. This one only cost us RM480 (equivalent to SGD193, based on exchange rate 2.48)

TOTAL DAMAGE FOR LIGHTINGS IN JB - RM 1143, (equivalent to SGD461)

Other lightings are from Chan Huat, Balestier.
