how to slim down?

Recommended Posts

Looking for good contractors? Click here for your request

My sisters & sister's boyfriend have been drinking phyto fiber for slimming and detox purposes. Seems good with no adverse side effects, slimming down and maintaining figure. My sisters relied on it after heavy meals, sure clear everything next day morning, as what they describe... haha

Good for constipation and for those who have problems with clearing bowels.

Personally tried few times for the fun of it since I do not have problems clearing my bowel at all. I cleared the toxins in my body for few times. No dehydration/sore feelings like diarrhoea symptoms but maybe a bit "embarrassed", kept running to toilet in office.

For those interested, can pm me or email me at jtec14@yahoo.com

How about Xenical? anyone tried it before?

I agree a low calorie diet and exercise are the way to go if one wants to lose weight. For those with high BMI, ie 27.5 and above (BMI is calculated by dividing your weight in Kilograms by the square of your height in meters eg if height is 1.7m and weight is 60kg, then BMI is 60/1.7x1.7=20.8), you may want to try Xenical+diet+exercise. Xenical works by blocking 30% of fat in your dietary intake so less fat is absorb into your body. The main reason we put on weight is because calorie intake > calorie output. With Xenical, diet and excercise, you not only reduce calorie intake but also increase calroie expenditure and end result is weight lost. I personally used it before and it works. However, one has to get used to the effect of the drug which is oily stools. You will need to go toilet more often and there may be more flatulence (sometimes with oil). these effects is directly related to the fat contents in your diet and if you control your fat intake, such effects can be managed. You can ask your doctor about Xenical. It is also available at the pharmacy outlets (but not off-the-shelf, need to see the pharmacist to get it).

Hey...actually I used to think its extremely difficult to slimmed dowm....especially after I gained 20kg during my first pregnancy, had a c-section and find it impossible to exercise...after a lot of trial and error I managed to find out that what you eat is 80% of what you are...

My slimming down regime includes a heavy healthy breakfast of fruits first...followed by oatmeal with milk or honey...that should be able to last me through lunchtime till maybe 2 or 3pm...then I munched some nuts and have a hot beverage...dinner had to be before 7.30pm...maybe a handful of rice or noodle with vegetable and soup. Additonal chicken or fish are ok as long as they are not fried...

Did this for about 2 months and lost almost 4kg...not bad huh

Do not feel offended: simple rule: Eat less and do more. When output> input, will slim down automatically.

But nowadays, ppls like to switch on air-con to maximum while covering thick-thick blanket. Eat & eat, diet here & there, & most contraditing is: pay $$$ to exercise !.

A friend share this formula to slim down. Only applicable for healthy individuals.

Morning: Drink a glass of water, go for a half hour jog. It is continuously jogging that matters more than the distance you cover.

Have 1 piece of wholemeal bread with one piece of ham and one egg.

Work in the day, drink plenty of water. Can do stretching exercise during lunch break. Only drink water and if you must eat, take fruits and some meat/ vegetable but no carbo and sugar.

Dinner: Skip for 15 minutes, sit up and do stretching exercise for 15 minutes. No food beyond 8:30pm, only veg/ fruits for dinner.

Sleep before 10:30pm.

After one month, you will notice that you have slim down.

I tried the routine for 1 week and it works great for me. However, I did not continue but my weight has somehow also become stable, as long as I don't over eat.

personally i have a friend who only eats one meal a day. which is like crazy.

for me i take my meals regularly. jog a few rounds around the neighborhood after work on alternate days and also if im not too tired.

i avoid fried stuff now especially when the weather is soo crazy and i may get constipated easily due to the lack of water.

on days when i tend to overeat, i'll just fruitylite to help ease the bloated feeling.

i think it's all in the mind. as long as you can maintain a healthy lifestyle, you can loose the weight anytime.

Drinkly freshly grounded fruit juice would slim u down.

And if u could stomach green apples, drink its juice, freshly blended without the fruit pulp. U'll slim down really fast.

However for those who r prone to bloating & stomach ailments, please avoid green apples, strawberries, cherries.

The best qay to slim down is to exercise regularly and count your calories on the food you eat.

Do not exceed 1800 calories each day.

what is 1800 calories roughly translated into dishes for 3 meals

Calories of Common Singapore food Part 1

A colleague of mine gave me this little booklet of the common Singapore food.

I am sharing this here.. It's really useful, has calories of food like Fried Kuey Tiao.. etc

For example,

1 plate of Hor Fun, 660g = 708kcal

1 bowl Red Bean Soup, 490g = 381kcal

Scary right??!!! But there are also some pleasant surprises:

1 Soon Kueh, 80g = 98kcal

(without sauce!)

1 bowl Wanton Noodles soup, 410g=217kcal

haha hey! I happened to chance upon this forum while looking for interior designs for flats.. Anyway, if you guys/girls are interested, I have a beauty consultant friend who does slimming for actor/actresses, singers, air stewardesses and even models! They're having a promotion now, and there is one free trial of the Inbody v3.0 machine that is being used in various hospitals (SGH, TTSH etc.) for overweight patients.

If there are people who dont mind slimming down using TCM products and fitness methods, feel free to PM me for more details :)
