Btw, if i dont wany my pool after a few years, do i need to get professional help to remove the pool which i suspect may cost be like $30k or can i just fill it up with soil and plant a garden over it?

having a pool isn't just having the hole in the ground. you still need to cater for space for the balancing tank, water pump, etc.

while you can just get a contractor to throw soil inside the pool to cover it up, you also need to get professionals in to dismantle all the ancillary fittings if you want to reclaim the space.
