What Song Chu offers is the built of the hardware, ie the stainless steel baskets but I cant comment on the moving parts. The con is really the limitation of the dimension, no flexibility, take their dimensions and fit in your kitchen. Yup a look alike Blum Tower unit but minus the cost of Blum. What you need to pay here are just the runners, while the carpenter can make the drawers with your preferred height, depth and length. Of cos Blum has a wider range of drawers to choose from, stainless steel, glasses etc but one drawer easily $100 up. And this additional come from your pocket, carpentry is not gonna reduce cost in any way if you choose Blum drawers. Matter of fact, I heard scenarios that carpenter charge more if using Blum, citing they need to attend a course to be certified Blum fitter. So let's take a step back, you want the functionality, cost efficient and aesthetics, get Blum runners and make sure your carpentry comes in Internal PVC coloured.

I normally uses Peeka because my shipment contains lightings etc. Peeka will help its customers to check their items first to make sure the items are in good condition before repacking them to save on volume. So far, I am pretty pleased with Peeka's service!

Hi 12, We hacked away the door and windows. Because of the way the door is installed by HDB, hacking it away will inevitably affect the tiling. And yes, you most definitely need to do re-tiling works. I will PM u the cost.

Not too sure about the drawing basket but as name applies, basket has holes and uneven, good for pack/box items but certainly not for bottles. Further to this, some baskets are actually only supported on one side which makes it to be not so sturdy. Dimension is another factor to consider. Baskets are pre-fab, you can have to choose the width available . With drawers, you can custom the with to fit your kitchen. If you are doing this, do get better drawer runners. Look for those that can withstand 30kg or more.

OMG. I just had a delivery from them today and it's a sofa in the wrong color. Had the worst phonecall ever with the staff where they admitted it's their mistake but I have to be more understanding because mistakes happen. They wanted me to take in the wrong sofa first and settle things later but I refused and had them take the wrong sofa back. They cannot guarantee when the replacement will come and made it seem like I'M the unreasonable one. Reading your post makes me even more worried and stressed now.

Hi Guys, Those who posted here and PM'ed me, i tried my best to reply already. If anyone still needs it or i missed it, just let me know. I'm done with renovating my flat, and all is well. My partner prefers not to share photos as it's private, but if my word counts for anything, it's great. The same contractor helped me with electrical and LED lighting (20-50% below what balestier/jalan besar shops are charging) in-house, but also happen to be a general contractor for carpentry, vinyl flooring, solid surface and plumbing. I'm getting him to help with my office's renovation as well. So hope this good contractor will be able to serve more of the bros and sis here. All the best!

Yup can hack those thin wall, no need PE. Mine got approved last week, and is currently under demolition works. I guess only those thick (bold line) wall cannot be hack or need PE approval.
